I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am active in my local church worship ministry (The Decisive Abandonment Worship Team). It ministers to both the childrens ministry(KidsForce) and young adults ministry(Flashpoint). This great church that I am a part of is called Calvary Temple in Indianapolis. I strongly believe that the local church is the strongest ministry of outreach. Think about it, look how many churches are on the corners in your city. If each church did what they were called to do, we really could see a revolution. I believe that revival is inevitable, but many will miss it as they are caught up in doing church instead of being the church.I love to play guitar (forever FENDER), but I need more practice. A good friend named Phil once said , "Having guitars is much better than having girlfriends, because you can have as many of them as you want and they won't fight."
I am employed in a great company that allows me to mentor some of the coolest kids in Naptown. PASSWORDS GOT YOU CRAZY!!!(if you work for Password, you get it!)I am in a gospel group with my brothers. We call ourselves JOSHUA which means: Jehova saves. If you want check me and my brothers out, we have some music and photos posted on our groups myspace at myspace/joshuachristianmusicministry and our CD is available at calvarytempleindy.org in the online store.

Add to My Profile | More Videos"Hit me with music, 'cause when it hits you feel no pain." -Bob Marley ("Trenchtown Rock")............"Music is my mistress."-Duke Ellington............Is there anything else? I love to sing it, play it,write it, and listen to it. It is my belief that for every situation in life, you should have a song. I tend to make these songs, write them down on paper, and then throw the paper away. I know it's horrible, but sometimes I just like to entertain myself. With my new ukulele, I have spent a lot of time doing this.I also dig being with friends. I have a Tuesday night ritual with a couple of good friends of mine, where we just chill and talk. Anything is on the talk menu on Tuesday nights. It's always good to know that when you fall there are friends there to help you up. Much love to you brothers.

I'd like to meet:

Billy Graham, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Bill Cosby, Bob Marley, Charles Swindol, Charles Spurgeon, BB King, Buddy Guy, Louis Armstrong, John Wesley, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Mac Powell, Derek Webb, any and all American presidents, Ralph Stanley, Count Basie, Stevie Wonder, Ghandi....there are definitely more. And ummmm, can someone introduce me to the beautiful girl I'm supposed to marry? She's gotta be out there somewhere.

Music:

Anything...really. You should see my collection of music. No genre is left untouched. I love good gospel music. I tend to listen to a lot of roots music (early reggae, jazz, blues, rock, and R&B), and anyone or anything that doesn't sound like today's top twenty.Stevie Ray Vaughn Texas Flood

Heroes:

A hero is someone who has saved you, someone you admire or look up too, or someone that you model your life after.Without being corny or cliche, I must say that Jesus Christ is the most amazing hero that ever lived. This is a guy who came into the world in a manger, lived a perfect life, rose to political prominance, revolutionized His time which revolutionized all of time. His life impacted the time line itself by seperating what is was BC to AD. He did not compromise is values (like many people do today to fit in), and He performed many miracles. Jesus bore my sins (which means he became sin to become the supreme sacrifice for sin) upon cross after being flogged with a whip dieing, spit on on and then died a criminal's death. My friend it doesn't end there, because He then conquered death and the grave to rise on the third day which paid the ransom for my soul. I say He's my hero, not because I should put him here on my myspace like many people do for the sake of recognition, but because I realized one day on a New Years Eve that He did it all of this for me. When I really understood that, I was compelled to surrender my life to him completely. His life and His word are the foundation of my exhistence without Jesus I am nothing and I don't feel that way about anyone else in this world. I love Jesus....seriously.Here are some of my other heroes: Joshua (in the Bible) that guy was one of the greatest leaders ever, Moses, and Paul the Apostle, My father (Mike), My mother (Wilma), Martin Luther King, Billy Graham,..

What is there to loose?
