I don't like TV, but I like to watch movies. I usually read a lot a lot if I have time, and I like to hang out with friends and think of stupid things to do that'll make people stare and get confused.
I like people who are different, and I don't like people who are trying to be like everyone else. I also don't like people who are being different just to be different and lose touch with what kind of person they really are inside. Having one's own personality is important to me when looking for friends.
I'm interested in anything intrumental; I'm a very musical person. I like classical music and laid back rock music. I love listening to acoustic guitar because it relaxes me, and if I don't find a time to relax in my life, stress will get to me. I also really like jazz, but I didn't appreciate it until I had an instrument in my hand and played some. I don't think anyone can really appreciate music until they know just how complicated it really is. I've been listening to a band called The Shins lately and I think they're probably starting to be my favorite band. I also listen to a band called The Postal Service that noone has probably heard of, but I think they've changed their name, and they're on 89X now.
I like a lot of movies. I don't really like scary movies or really dramatic movies. I like so many movies I don't know where to start. Well right know I'm watching Forrest Gump, and it's a great movie. Tom Hanks is a great actor; any movie that he's in is a great movie. I don't think he's ever been in a bad movie. I also like School of Rock and Orange County. I'll just make a list not in any specific order.Forrest Gump School of Rock Orange County You've Got Mail
I don't like to watch television too much unless it's Comedy Central. My favorite tv show is Saturday Night Live. Also, MTV is way overrated; they hardly play music anymore, and when they do it's usually bad music, which makes stupid little teenagers like it and then the bad band gets raised on this whole other level to "celebrity", of which I'm not even going to get started with. Back 200 or more years ago really respectful, hardworking people got up to the status where people could and can still refer to them by only one name, and people would automatically know who they were talking about. People like Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart to name a few. Nowadays, the Bachs, Beethovens, and Mozarts are being replaced by people like Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy- or whatever the hell his name is now, Prince, The Artist Formally Known as Prince, or the damned stupid ass symbol for Prince-he thinks of himself so highly that he doesn't even think he needs a name, Madonna, Brittany, Christina, Justin, etc. because they're raised to such a high status because of a stupid little television show called MTV. These people get their music handed to them on a silver platter and never have to work to make themselves big hits. I believe the music industry today is in turmoil because of MTV. In other words, I HATE MTV.
My all time favorite book is called "The Good People of New York" written by Thisbe Nissen, who is one of my favorite authors. My other favorite author is Dan Brown, and I like everything that he's written. I also like The Notebook, the book and not the movie. I've also like two books called "The Sparrow" and "Children of God" written by Marie Doria Russel.
FDR- the only president to have run 4 terms and he has made so many accomplishments in these terms, unlike another president I know of, *cough Bush *cough.Other than him, I can't really think of anyone else.
