Formed in 2004, Stone Crows’ collective sound is as gruesome as it is melodic - Heavy enough for the metal fans but with the soaring, twisting vocals of McWilliams and their headstrong DIY ethic Stone Crow have placed themselves solidly in the underground alternative scene, shepherding a loyal cult following. Balancing swollen, discoloured guitar riffs reminiscent of Corrosion of Conformity and Alice in Chains and the melodic currents of Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots, Stone Crow ebb in and out of many of rocks’ heavier genres.
For any who are wondering, this site is (hopefully) a temporary one to keep you posted on all things Crow-esque while we try to get our other space (http://www.myspace.com/stonecrowni) sorted out - will myspace ever pull their fingers out of their arses and sort the problem out?! We'll see...
