Tentacle has played with bands such as Bile out of New York, Attrition from England, Project 44 (featuring members of My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult), and Rikkets (featuring members of Genitorturers), Unfinnished Thought, Hypodermic from Detroit MI, Negative Red among other stellar acts. Tentacle's first album, "The Dead Just Want to Dance" was self produced and it received many accolades in the local music rags, even garnering a spot on Music Revue's Top-3 Best Local CD Releases. Band Members: Tentacle is ERIC STANEK who manages a Kurzweil K2600S, Korg Triton, Korg MicroKorg, Korg ER-1 Electribe, Roland MC909, and a Tascam TM-D1000, vocals: SUSAN STANEK. Tentacle has worked with Ryan Lieske for vocals, Marc Audy as a session guitarist, and SETH BEUTE with his Fender Stratocaster, which has glow in the dark stars. Influences: What influenced this?? Heck if I know...midnight car rides? Chartreuse? Dreams and insects in summer? Depeche Mode, Switchblade Symphony, Medicine, Clock DVA, Attrition, Nocturne, ...the list is infinite....
Sounds Like: If The Cure met Assemblage 23 and had a foursome with Joy Division and Frontline Assembly ... and then they had a kid and the kid rebelled against everything that its parents stood for. That MIGHT be what Tentacle sounds like.
