About Me

Wreckless Process formed in the early summer of 2002, and has been taking their hometown of Tulsa, OK and the surrounding states by storm with heavy riffs and pounding rythms. Their critically acclaimed live show, their hard work ethic, and their "reckless" attitude (often getting them banned from venues & festivals in their hometown), has made this band a favorite throughout the midwest. Their first major accomplishment was being accepted to the Florida Music Festival in April of 2004 and played in a showcase in downtown Orlando. Since then, the band has played in most cities across the midwest, has been a featured band at Diversafest , and have toured most of the western US. They have had the privilege of sharing the stage with major label bands such as Trapt, Story Of The Year, Day Of Fire, Full Scale, Spitalfield, Mourning September, Five Bolt Main, New Dead Radio, and many more. In late 2004, they started recording their debut full-length album at Armstrong Recording (MxPx, Failsafe, Hagfish, the Effects) with engineer Ryan Wallace and the legendary Stephen Egerton(member of the Descendents & ALL). Mastering was provided by The Blasting Room (MxPx, Alkaline Trio, the Ataris, Open Hand). The album, titled "Pull Your Own Weight", was released on August 26, 2005 on Vigilant Records , has proven to be a hot seller throughout the country, and has continued to recieve praise from both fans and critics alike. The success of their debut album fueled tours throughout the United States, has garnered major radio play on various stations from Tulsa to Los Angeles, and has attracted fans from all over the world. In July 2006, Wreckless Process decided to take a hiatus, after tensions within the group and the pressures of touring took it's heavy toll. Time away, time to reflect, and time to appreciate, has given the members of this band time to fully realize what they did it for in the first place. A new fire instilled, and a renewed passion to drive forward. We are Wreckless Process. Stay tuned.....because the best is yet to come.

“A high-energy rock band with an explosive live show”
-Jay Pitts, KMYZ FM 104.5 The Edge, Tulsa, OK & KHBZ FM 94.7 The Buzz, Oklahoma City, OK. July 2005.

"a debut album chock full of high quality and incredibly talented music. There is nothing on this disc which disappoints, as it is high-energy, engaging, and remarkably well produced"
- Andrea Caruso, editor for IndependantClauses.com

“Wreckless is a local up and comer that’s been hammering away on the club scene, building their chops and reputations. They are high-power rock with metal overtones that you should have heard on the Edge’s Homegroan show. Their debut CD, Pull Your Own Weight, comes out this month and promises to be one of Tulsa’s best local releases of the year.”
–Urban Tulsa, Gary Hizer. July 2005.

"Powerful riffs and an explosive live show can’t be denied. This summer’s new disc, Pull Your Own Weight, may end up being the best local hard-rock release of the year. The heaviness hints at Tool, while process through a distinctly mid-western rock sensibility. Soon to be Wrecking more clubs across the region."
-Urban Tulsa Weekly, July 2005.

"When the screams start and the guitar gets heavy, I almost kicked my dog in the face it was so intense."
-PureVolume Forum Listener (Subgenius), October 2005

" The eleven tracks on Pull Your Own Weight capture the essence of this band’s immeasurable talent, which is bound to garner them a national following."
-Independent Clauses, Andrea Caruso
