im happy mostly, but mostly not content with the state of things.the one evening i took a walk out to the river hoping to get lost, but not really, i really did get lost. the fog was so thick that i couldn't even retrace my way back to the walkway and i was so angry with the state of things that i stood by the river and threw the biggest rocks i could pick up at the water until i wore myself out and went to go sit on a bench. the moon was coming up over the river but everything was still light pink and yellow and the ground was still wet from the fog. i drew patterns in my book and realized that whenever i looked at them it would leave memories of the state of things tonight. i drew pictures of myself sailing across the river to magical islands with colorful tigers and exotic landscapes with interesting plants and people. i got up and started walking to the T and found my way home again.
