Ricky V.Z. (born September 17, 1982), nicknamed the Boogieman, is best known as the guitarist/lead vocalist for that "Little Ol' band from Athens", DOWN & OUT . He is also the bass player for the HELLROAD CARAVAN . A Brahami native, Ricky is known for playing a classic 1959 Gretsch Bo Diddley guitar he calls "The beat box". He is known to play his guitar using a quarter or a peso as a pick, lending a distinctive sound to his playing.
