With well over a dozen motion pictures and many notable TV guest appearances under his belt, Andrew Bryniarski is fast becoming a household name (in 2003 he was nominated for the MTV movie award for "Best villian" and won the PEOPLE magazines TEEN CHOICE award for "Best Thriller) with his recent part in Newline's remake of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (2003), which has surely left his hefty boot imprint upon the horror movie genre.
Playing the killer (Thomas Hewitt), who is more widely known as "Leatherface", Andrew is the epitome of intimidation in this picture, as a group of young friends find themselves struggling and fighting for their lives in the dangerously secluded outback of Texas...
Born in Philadelphia, the 6ft 5" body builder visited Hollywood for a summer vacation to see a friend. Spotted by a talent scout, Andrew was screen tested for a Joel Silver movie and got the part, acting alongside Bruce Willis in "Hudson Hawk". Since then, Andrew has worked alongside Al Pacino, James Woods, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry and Cuba Gooding Junior, to mention only a few; he has also worked with Hong Kong’s best - Tsui Hark and Yuen Wo Ping.
Andrew's film work includes "Pearl Harbor", Tim Burton's "Batman Returns", Oliver Stone’s "Any Given Sunday", "Rollerball", "Scooby Doo", "Streetfighter", "The Program" (as Lattimer) and John Singleton's "Higher Learning".
He recently appeared on a TV production in FX's "44 Minutes: Shootout in North Hollywood" (2003), which recieved enormous ratings and broke several records. Andrew has guest starred in many TV shows to date and was included by Entertainment Weekly Magazine in this year's "IT" list of the top 100 creative people in Hollywood.
Living a healthy lifestyle by working out at the gym and practicing yoga, Andrew also enjoys many outdoor activities, such as horse riding and mountain climbing.
Andrew has a great love of music; the range and diversity is extensive - appealing to so many people. He has a great singing talent and is the lead vocalist in "Musical Freak Show" (M.F.S). He is currently working on their album.
In keeping with his movie career, Andrew is currently working on different movies, acting as well as producing. Watch this space.
