...don't postpone joy...

About Me

I moved to sunny Sarasota from Ann Arbor, Michigan last year. As much as I miss everyone and everything in Ann Arbor; the climate, change of pace, and opportunities down here are a great fit for me... and I'm so glad I moved. Really, I wish I had made better decisions sooner.** The last few years have brought a ton of changes... I've lived a few places (Michigan, London, and now Florida), and worked in a few very opposite fields (Fashion, Construction, Jewelry, Fitness, and now Health Food). I love what I do now, but I can't tell you what my next step will be! I'm thinking about my Masters in Natural Health, even though I never thought I'd go back to school. In the meantime, I'll be the first to say life doesn't always go as you've planned... so its one day at a time! ** I always am laughing at something, always friendly, social, and independent; always open-minded, honest, and truly loyal and dependable (especially to family and close friends), and a total Scorpio; I can be loud, bitchy, sarcastic, hypersensitive, overly trusting (which bites me in the ass most every time), impulsive, and anxious; I'm usually motivated and determined, creative, artistic; I'm never a carnivore... **"Be not the slave of your own past - plunge into the sublime seas, dive deep, and swim far, so you shall come back with self-respect, with new power, with an advanced experience, that shall explain and overlook the old." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

My Interests

TRAVEL, beaches and water (why I love Florida!), rocks & stones (yes, I'm serious, I love geology... my long term goal was to open my own jewelry store/art gallery/boutique, so I could be able to travel all over the world as my own buyer... that is still my dream job, since I can't seem to travel the world enough), jewelry, photography, cooking, wine, MUSIC, film, astrology, literature, Croatian language (I'm trying to learn!), art, enjoying the sunshine... going to concerts, festivals, galleries, museums, great friendship, performances, bars, juke boxes, spending time with family and friends (the people I love are the most important things to me), meeting new people and experiencing new places and things... Favorite places in the world: Croatia (Varazdin and all the Adriatic Sea), London, San Francisco, Ann Arbor, gulf coast Florida...

I'd like to meet:

New friends in Florida. People who enjoy travel, culture, music. Most of all, people who I can laugh with one minute and have an intelligent, open-minded, honest conversation with the next. People who can make me laugh, or teach me something, or inspire me. White Cherries myspace layout
