Everything happens for a reason... Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity... All occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, whether they be events, illnesses, or relationships Life would be like a smoothly paved straight flat road to nowhere... Safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.well lets see, im 20 years old and living in orange county california. never thought id end up out here. i grew up in Dallas Texas, and thats where all my family is. In the past year and I've learned more than i ever would have expected to. the people that have been put into my life have all taught me something new about myself and about the people i surround myself with. guess i used to look for my happiness and fulfillment in others and now im learning that by doing that ill never be happy. ill always be disapointed because people change, no ones perfect and no one will ever be able to live up to your expectations of them. God doesnt EVER give us anything we cant handle... he has his way of showing us and teaching us things that we need to see or change in our lives. He allows us to walk through some pretty painful things. things that seem impossible or unbearable at the time, but looking back you understand why... This plan he has for us starts to become so clear and so perfect... God will tap us on our shoulder, trying to show us something that we need to see, but for people like me God needs to "tap me", "hit me", "shove me down", then put it right in front of my face. i learn things the hard way, things dont go wrong at the right times, and they always go wrong ALL at once, but all this happens for a reason, to help you grow into the person that can be strong and walk through anything. People will hurt you, people will lie to you, people will desert you, people will manipulate you, people will turn their backs on you at the hardest times of your life.... in the end all you have is you, and God... i guess i tend to live my life in fear that all of these things will happen, i want that quick fix.. i wanna fix everyhting in my life RIGHT NOW. i need to learn to WAIT, be patient and let things work themselves out!! i have NO CONTROL over my circumstances or other people. i cant live in fear, or hold back because im scared of once again getting let down or disapointed. ill miss out on alot.love can be a scary thing to me...something that when its good its amazing but when things are difficult they seem impossible and unbearable. love is not just caring about someone, its caring about them so much that your willling to work hard at the relationship you have with that person, you dont leave or bail when things get rough, your there for them and they are there for you, you would do anything to keep them from hurting or being in pain...love is a process... trials in life test our love and the only real love is the kind that never fades, we throw the word around so much that sometimes we forget what that really means in our lives. i guess i just have to remember that i dont know evrything right now, but one day ill undrstand why God had me walk through it... things happen life goes on...there really are no BIG DEALS!! you may think whatever is going on in your life is hard, is SO BAD, or is unbearable, but theres always someone whose worse off, always someone who walked through the same thing your walking through and they made it out ok.... life isnt supposed to be perfect, without obstacles life would be a smoothly paved staight flat road to nowhere...dull and utterly pointless. If we start to try to "run" our lives or try to grasp onto some illusion of being able to control our lives God will slowly try and show you how hard it is to do alone, until you start to rely on him! when you start to depend on him your problems wont go away and obstacles will still be put in front of you, but these things that seemed impossible arent so hard anymore!!! people change, things go wrong, but in the end LIFE GOES ON!! i feel like i have so many great things ahead of me and nothing can stand in my way, cause whatever comes up ill walk through and learn from. im in school and i love it...hopefully working my way to law school.VENTURE INTO THE UNKNOWN. LET NOTHING HOLD YOU BACK, AND FEAR NOTHING BUT THE FEAR OF NEVER SEEING THE OTHER SIDE....
