About Me

I am an artist and musician interested in spirituality in art practice. In my sculpture, I work to integrate sight and sound as part of the sculptural experience. I wish to expand my practice beyond the object and engage all the senses that give me the "aesthetic" experience.I have created two musical projects for myself. First, I am one of two guitarists for a band in Chicago called Roots: 101. This is a band whose music is a cross between Bob Marley and the Temptations with a little Zeppelin thown in. We're a great party band and play regularly in Chicago. My second project is a solo project called Primal Intelligence.I'm having lots of fun creating compositions with Garage Band that serve as backing tracks for my guitar. I consider this stuff aural versions of my visual work. These songs, like the sculpture, are grounded in the search to understand our humanity.

Keeping it in Reality

Keep it Real.Keep it Present. It's a Structural conversation.Practice exists in Time, in Reality. If it only exists in thoughts and fantasies, then it doesn't exist.
