About Me

goddess....where to start? My life has been not so mainstream. Here it goes; My Mom married an Egyptian, they popped me and my sis out in Minneapolis, then moved us to Alexandria, Egypt when I wuz 6. Did all my schoolin' there except for 8th grade (whem My Mom got so fed up with living there that we as a family unit had one last attempt to live in Minneapolis for a year to see how "things would work out"), and that's another long story. Moved back to Egypt till I was 18, hated it, moved back to Minneapolis at 18, started college, then travelled a whole lot, lived in England, moved to San Diego, fell in love with Nola (will live there in the future), then moved to Seattle with my wonderful Husband. Somehwere in there developed a strong love for two things....motorcycles, and alternative medicine, health and herbs.....there's a whole lot I'm missing, but this is a good start, and here I am in Seattle, now an ex-owner of a health food store and Organic Cafe. Oh, a big thing about me, I love my dogs!! Merlin the wizzard Great Dane, and Princess Sammy, the Border Collie+other?? They keep me up when I'm down! I'm generally a very independent soul and very nomadic and can't sit still much. Part of the reason we will move to Nola soon. Not to mention weather, and if there ever was a rich culture in the U.S. you will find it there. ..

My Interests

motorcyles, health, most kinds of music (but reggae bugs), loud concerts, tattoos, soap and incense making, raising energy, travel, gardening, spending time hiking in nature, trail and herb walks, and definetly spending time with my doggies and honey.

I'd like to meet:

Cool people that share my interests( motorcycles, tattoos, NOT so alternative medicine, herbs, wicca, travel, antiques)and more. I want to people that are motivated and driven and don't just lay on the couch all day waiting for LIFE to happen. You gotta grab life by the balls and seize the day!! I want to meet people that cannot go a day without Music, for it is the outlet of the Soul! Any locals who enjoy loud concerts??? Lemme know! People who are spiritual but not proselytizers or fanatic, but see life as a positive experience and see beauty in every tree, plant and animal. I would prefer to meet people that are vegetarian. I really have a hard time with justifying killing (or "slaughtering")animals! Oh yeah, and non-smokers too. I hate those coffin nails!
You are Bettie Page
Girl next door with a wild streak
You're a famous beauty - with unique look

Music:

I am totally enamored by the 40's ANYTHING! Yet still love Rockabilly, Punk Rock, Classical, Honky Tonk, Hillbilly, Psychobilly, Voodobilly, Old Country, and gotta love Jazz and Blues, Zydeco...or anything having to do with NOLA (If you don't know what that means look it up). Some music....Billie Holiday, THE DIVA! The Satchamo, Duke Ellington, The Reverend, BRMC, Hank, Cash, and lots o' others not in my thoughts at the moment....did I mention Monster Magnet or Corrosion of Conformity?? dunno why, just like em.

Movies:

You Are Guinness
You know beer well, and you'll only drink the best beers in the world.
Watered down beers disgust you, as do the people who drink them.
When you drink, you tend to become a bit of a know it all - especially about subjects you don't know well.
But your friends tolerate your drunken ways, because you introduce them to the best beers around. What's Your Beer Personality?

Television:

South Park, Malcolm in the Middle, Mad TV, Dave Chapelle, Simpsons, Scrubs, SNL (sometimes).....nothing too serious and not too stupid (Like Friends...I hate that show!!!!!!!!!!!) I hate watching the news before going to bed, talk about setting yourself up to for bad dreams??!!

Books:

I read a lot of books on herbs, vitamins, anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, wicca. I want to read a novel that enthralls me but can't seem to drop my other reading. Some of my favorites: Paul Pitchford "Healing with Whole Foods", Planetary Herbology and The Way of Herbs by Michael Tierra. Other titles: Prescriptions for Nutritional Healing, Linda's Healing Pages, Optimal Wellness by Ralph Golan. Some ole school gurus like Bernanrd Jensen, Robert Gray...I've read several good books on ritual incense making like Scott Cunningham's and Carl Neal's. I read a great monthly magazine by the Life Extension Foundation (www.lef.org)...more to the list later....

ok, cheezy as it is (and I made this decision today) is Oprah, she is amazing! All she does is gives and makes so many people in her audience happy, and in turn brings happiness and hope to others. If every rich person could do what she does, this world would be so much of a better place! Aside from her...I'll get back to you on that
