Supporter Poem:
"Everyone tells me it’s not good for me,
They all tell me its only getting worse.
The hurt, the pain, the constant tears,
They all tell me that I deserve more than this is worth.
I can’t just forget everything,
I don’t have the strength to give up on all I’ve known.
But I can’t give up that easily,
I can’t just leave you alone.
You jump, I jump.
You fall, I pick you up.
You die, I die,
If only on the inside.
I can’t do much but try and help,
But I wish I could think of some words to prove.
I can’t do much now but just listen,
But what I really want to do is save you.
I want to convince you this isn’t the easiest,
But I can’t find the words to explain.
I can’t stand to see you like this,
Hurting and in such a great pain.
You jump, I jump.
You fall, I pick you up.
You die, I die,
If only on the inside."

-If you should ever need anything, she is ready and willing to help-
“In depression... faith in deliverance, in ultimate restoration, is absent. The pain is unrelenting, and what makes the condition intolerable is the foreknowledge that no remedy will come --not in a day, an hour, a month, or a minute.... It is hopelessness even more than pain that crushes the soul.â€
