My name is Natalie Cross. I work for the government - any government that pays, that is. Technically, I'm a subcontractor - like Haliburton, only with guns.
I get hired to hunt down scum and dispose of them - and I always get my man. Always.
I love the color pink. As in, "pink mist" (I'll let you figure that one out).
My prison psychiatrist called me "unstable". Blame my dad, he was the dangerous one. Old School. Black Ops. And he always wanted a son (that’s why he called me “Nateâ€). He taught me things like, how to skin a deer and how to fire a rifle. After dad disappeared on a mission, it seemed like that life was behind me. By the time I went to college, I almost felt like a normal girl. But it was in college that my father’s past, and my future, finally caught up with me.
Prison was a haven for me after I quit, and I'd still be there if my biological clock hadn't started ringing. So I'm back on contract, working The List. But looking for two men now.
One I'm trying to eliminate.
The other... well, I've got something else in mind.
