IDEAS is one of the earliest hungarian female fronted band, they formed in 1994, the first tape album Maze was released in 1998, which was promising sign for the bands future. After the first release a long hard time came up for the band, with a lot of changes at the line up, with two official albums with good underground reflections, but they were not really good ones. The band made a lot of demos, and searched for fix memebers, and a really original voice, in 2005 they reformed into a near original line-up and found a fantastic new singerin called Anita Kun, who is really able to compare not just with the 2nd line bands but also with the leading female singers like NIGHTWISHs Tarja, WITHIN TEMPTATIONs Sharon or Christina.
Ideas come into play on Gothica 4 Festival (05.01.2005) with MOONSORROW and HAGGARD and Gothica 6 Festival (04.30.2007) with DEATHSTARS, BATTLELORE, MORTIIS, MANDRAGORA SCREAM, DAS SCHEIT. The band supported in full up Petofi Hall (Budapest, 01.18. 2008) with WITHIN TEMPTATION and CORONATUS
The new album released in december 2008. The Fonix/Phoenix. The album will be released on December 1st. IDEAS just posted the official video clip for the song Angyal /Angel of their late album Ébredés/Revival on the band’s myspace page. IDEAS just put another new song online. The first exclusive track (Burn On) of their upcoming album, Fonix/Phoenix is now available on the band’s MySpace profile.
