Here again is another problem! I can enjoy all kinds of music, from classical to modern. It all depends on the music and artist. Recently I have tried opera.....O.K. there are some good bits....but sorry... I have usually fallen asleep half-way through some performances. Puccini and Mozart are good, but some operas......
Now here is where I come into my own. I love movies. So much so that I bore my friends with my knowledge of movie making. I would love to have made a career in movie production. I'm not particularly interested in being an actor, but I love to know about the process of making movies. I'm the sort of guy who buys a DVD and watches the 'extras' on the second disc. My favorite watching is the documentary they often make about making a film, and then bore everyone telling them how the special effects were created.
Not interested. I have recently discovered the 'Discovery' channel and documentaries on the 'Egyptians'.Also 'National Geographic' channel can also be interesting. But general TV...forget it. I have watched American TV.....and I'm glad I live in Europe.
Now here is an interesting question. I've read a lot of books, mainly while I was in airports, waiting for the inevitably delayed flight. Anne Rice's 'Vampire Chronicles' was a favorite at one time.
Heroes? There is a difficult question. Mainly those people who have struggled through impossible odds. Perhaps Winston Churchill; Nelson Mandela.
