Electronic band dDamage is comin’ in your town always ready to destroy the dancefloors. dDamage’s "Ink 808" piece of 4 tracks on wax is a dirty bangin melting-pot of fucked up techno tracks. "Ink 808" bangs your head with its crispy remixes of Dj A (Teamtendo), Krazy Baldhead (Ed Bangers) & Krikor (France Copland)... Wait ! This is some kind of blur universe between the distorted sound of Ultradyne under codeine syrup and the wild noisy cut-ups of William Burroughs daughters and Sutekh’s spirit, put on guitars of the early Sonic Youth records that has been slashed in broken stars... Heavy broken breakbeats, punk vocals and harshnoise-guitars, broken bits and funky bass under pressure, this new dDamage record is joined with a video clip featuring Ape-Robot, Doctor Agueev and David Lynch himself. More info soon...
..
dDamage is a duet driven by two brothers. Since 2001, they’re connected with labels such as Angelika Khlermann, Active Suspension, Adaadat, v/vm, big dada, Quatermass, Coredump Records, Tsunami-Addiction, Cockrock Disco, Ronda Records, Clapping Music, to name a few... Then came their third LP on Mike Paradinas’ legendary label : Planet-Mu. Wait ! Apes are moving like fluids. They play a very energic electronic music, with some hip-hop influences, churning wild guitar riffs, furious samples and analogical synth noises. BLAST!
I don’t know how to describe their sound really. Its woozyness reminds me of Capitol K’s first album, and there are electric basses, vocals and guitars plus a distorted production ethic which brings to mind MBM. (Mike Paradinas)
Influences: Two-headed brothers dDamage show here love to electro-punk and noisy acid-trash cut-ups and bubbles, comin’ out from the stomach of lo-fi blood vessels... After their releases "Radio Ape LP" and "Pressure EP" on Planet-Mu, here comes the "Ink 808" project, along with a new video featuring Doctor Agueev, Ape Robot, RA and David Lynch... Feeling happy when they’re unlocked, armed and free, takin’ over spots and blocks, they spit serious shit. Nobody stands adjacent... Why ? Cauz they’re showin’ here love to their hood Paris, with fellows Krikor, dj Aï and Krazy Baldhead... Bandana-wrap ! G’s Ice ! Who’s Fuckin With That ?
