The best way to know the future is to create it, I DID AND I STILL AM! ~ MAKE MANIFEST! AND YES, WE'

About Me

You Are a Retrospective Soul
The most misunderstood of all the soul signs.
Sometimes you even have difficulty seeing yourself as who you are.
You are intense and desire perfection in every facet of your life.
You're best described as extremely idealistic, hardworking, and a survivor.
Great moments of insight and sensitivity come to you easily.
But if you aren't careful, you'll ignore these moments and repeat past mistakes.
For you, it is difficult to seperate the past from the present.
You will suceed once you overcome the disappoinments in life.
Souls you are most compatible with: Traveler Soul and Prophet Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?
You Are a Friendly Ex
While the guys you've dated haven't been perfect, you've kept most as friends
In fact, one or two of your exes may be your best friends - after all, they know you best
And though your mature attitude is awesome, make sure nothing gets too weird
Or else you could lose these friendships, simply because your exes' new women think you're *too* friendly What Kind of Ex Are You?
I am Adriana. THIS IS MY SPACE AND MY STORY. I was born and raised in the beautiful Crown of the Inland Empire~ The city of CORONA. I'm a GANGSTA FO' LIFE. I was raised by my grandparents. My father is half Serbian, and half Japanese, and my mom is French, Dutch, Irish, and German. I started dancing ballet and tap at the age of 4 and was competing within months across Southern California. I performed on stage in my first musical "Annie" at age seven, where I was given the opportunity to sing, dance and act. I AM THE TRIPLE THREAT. HA HA! I have appeared in local newspapers for my achievements many times growing up, and a few commercials on TV. I've performed in telethon fundraisers and started dancing professionally at the age of 10 performing Hawaiian, Tahitian, and Polynesian routines at Luaos. I was a straight "A" student growing up and attended Jr. University every summer, taking acting classes and/or computer courses. In high school I was a cheerleader for 1 year before rebelling and getting kicked out of school. I always wanted to be a professional singer/dancer/actress and ventured into the entertainment industry at the age of 17. Unfortunately there is a lot of DRAMA affiliated with the industry and after receiving a scary reality check in 1996, I came back down to familiar ground. A year later, at the age of 18, I discovered I was pregnant with my beautiful daughter Angela. My entire outlook on life had to change. In 1998 I got into the Real Estate field and started working for Remax as an assistant which inspired me to go to school through Tarbell for my Real Esate License. After only working in Real Estate for a few months, I would discover that I could make a lot more money as an exotic dancer... About a year and a half later, and after feeling a laarge sense of guilt, I decided to get out of the industry. Unfortunately it was not soon enough as karma came around to kick my ass in the fall of 2000. My grandmother died, I was arrested, my friend was murdered, I totalled my car, got robbed by my ex-best friend for $8,000, among many other life changing experiences, all within 6 months. I suffered a nervous breakdown, fled to New York to think, (hopefully become enlightened), and realize what God was trying to tell me. I came back to Corona to start my new life in July of 2001, only to be burned during a housefire on July 3rd, 2001 -only a week after moving back. I spent 6 weeks in the Grossman Burn Center at the Western Medical Center in Costa Mesa, undergoing reconstructive cosmetic surgery on both hands and feet, hyperbarics treatments and physical therapy, and then I still couldn't walk until October 2001. WHEW. I've been through ALOT. I've spent the past few years building a new life and a new future for myself and my daughter - raising my daughter 100% on my own. I'm now in college and back on track, focusing on my dreams. As a young adult I started taking vocal lessons from the famed singer/songwriter/dancer/ex-host of Showtime at the Apollo~ Leonard Reed, inventor of the tap dance, "The Shim Sham Shimmy" although he passed away on April 5th, 2004~(Rest in Peace). I grew up entertaining people, but I have a passion for science, sports, and philosophy. I'm currently getting ready to transfer to UCR with my major in Physics, with an emphasis in Astrophysics. P.S. I Don't drive very well... I'm known for totalling every car I've ever owned, and occasionally being the subject of high speed chases... But I can't help it, I have asian blood, and I love imports...

Books:

Da Vinci Code - by Dan Brown, La Principia - by Isaac Newton~Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, Gorgeous, talented and fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesnt serve the world. Theres nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people wont feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest The Glory of God that is within us. Its not just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people Permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.~Nelson Mandela, 1994 Inaugural Speech

Heroes:

GOD. THE HOLY PROPHETS.(sallahu alaihi wassallam) MY GRANDMA RACHEL. PBUH ~Rest in Peace 11/17/29 - 6/17/00~ She raised my sister and I since we were both in diapers, and is the sole reason why I am who I am today. She is responsible for all of my straight "A" report cards, having helped me with my homework everyday after school, and always promoted my education. She was my classroom room mother, and very active in my schools PTA every year, making costumes for my school plays, and dance recitals, baking cupcakes or cookies for all my class parties and would often help backstage at all of my dance recitals or competitions. Everyone called her "Grandma". All of my friends would go to her with their problems that they were too uncomfortable to talk about with their own parents. The hardest thing about losing a parent, is when they are taken from you prematurely. I had my daughter at the age of 19, and my sister had her first born son at 15. When my daughter was sick as a baby, there were so many times that I started to pick up the phone to call my grandmother to ask for advice... and then I remembered that I couldn't since she had passed away. I actually PICKED UP the phone before I realized it- it was just instinctive to call her when I had a question about anything... My grandmother is the strongest and most intelligent woman I've ever known. She was always humble, and chose to spend her money on my sister and I, rather that buy herself anything. She taught me to have self confidence and self respect. She taught me to budget my money, not to be materialistic, and to always look towards and save for the future. She taught me to seek knowledge consistently throughout my life, make my own decisions, and come up with my own ideas, discover my own beliefs and convictions, instead of borrowing or copying others. She was the best friend I ever had. She was my MOM. CHICK HEARN as my daughter said best at his funeral, "...was a nice old grandpa." LOL. I've been watching Laker games with my grandpa since I was a little girl. I used to love hearing him say, "You can put this one in the refrigerator. The door's closed, the light's out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard and the Jell-O is jiggling!" I would get excited as a little girl, because every time I heard that, it meant the Lakers were going to win! He became a legendary NBA broadcaster, calling his first Laker game in March of 1961. He called his last game on June 12 when the Lakers beat the New Jersey Nets 113-107 to complete a sweep of the NBA Finals and earn their ninth title since moving from Minneapolis. Hearn called a record 3,338 consecutive Lakers games. He will be forever loved, and missed. WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!!! There will never be another Chick! ALSO, ISSAC NEWTON, ALBERT EINSTEIN ROBERT SMITH!
