About Me

Childhood Friends Matt Huerta (AKA Misalaneous) and Landon Balk (AKA Remedy) started off their musical journey as a creative way to have some fun. The early music consisted of comedic and morbid lyrics with primitive keyboard accompaniment. The team recorded this music on tape as a hobby, and around 2003 this hobby led to a discussion of doing something more serious. Experimentation began, and Eternal were well on their way to figuring out by themselves how to engineer recordings with the resources they had. By the time they were in tenth grade they had started work on their first rap effort, "The Saga Begins." An embarrassing attempt at trying to reenact what they thought sounded cool at the time. It was a huge step for Eternal though, for it opened up the vault to a whole new realm of creation. The team taught themselves how to make their own instrumentals with a 6-track midi keyboard, layering one instrument at a time. A drum machine appeared and the second album "E=MC2" was produced while learning about sequencing and programming the drums. Recording was still quite a hassle, but the two were quite keen on their knowledge of the recording process. (And obviously driven enough to record music under such limiting conditions)E=MC2 was still not impressive, but another accomplishment for Eternal nonetheless. By the time the album "The Music Theory" came along, Eternal had a pretty good idea of their capabilities with the recording process. Unhappy with the album, Eternal later recorded the album again only to be dissapointed with the final product. Eternal developed their own style, and learned to master every aspect of production and performing.
Eternal continues their jouney and progression with their new album entitled 'Mediasacre.' Join the saga and listen.
