Just a musician among many others... Actually a bass player, well I keep trying !!
At 4 years old I had a real shock hearing a powerfull piece of organ in a cathedral. I decided to start piano at 7 as a warm up and organ at 14. At the same time I couldn't stop listening The Police and Sting and I found to play bass could be pretty cool when I saw the movie "Subway" by Luc Besson where Eric Serra played an instrumental part call "Congabass".
My parents bought me my first bass at 18. I discovered on a music channel a british band from the 80's : Level 42. Then I told my parents I would like to become Mark King !! No kidding...
The year after I went to the CIM a Jazz School in Paris. I opened my ears to Weather Report & Jaco Pastorius, Return To Forever & Stanley Clarke, Uzeb & Alain Caron, Casiopea & Tetsuo Sakurai, mostly it was all about bass...
Today I start to play on a very exciting projet call General Purpose created and leaded by JP Miasnik, it's a real honor and a great pleasure for me.
