Marked was formed in the summer of 2002 by a couple of disillusioned angry misfit musicians. The band’s often reckless and out of control, if not just out of tune, performances quickly landed them opening slots with punk bands such as The Dwarves, The Exploited, Conflict, Fear, DRI, and others.
Known for their incomprehensible yet meaningful lyrics and crafty simple guitar riffs, Marked songs address issues of personal and political cause, as well as interaction, despite the band's stereotype of having a political or religious ideology. Marked is a band of individuals with different social and political points of views who have found a common ground through their music.
