Young Agent Jones sounds like what came laughing and stumbling out of an all night drink-a-thon involving The Ramones, The Who, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, Cheap Trick, and Buddy Holly. Known for their huge three part harmonies, hyperactive bassist and laser-guided smart drumming, Young Agent Jones is dedicated to playing songs that will kick you in the ass then stick in your head for days. Armed with two albums in the can and a third on the way, not to mention an absurdly random variety of covers, these gentlemen are entertainment purists who love to have a good time. Young Agent Jones is made up of Agent Jones on guitar and vocals, Agent Rowan on guitar and vocals, "The Baron" Agent Yeager, on drums and vocals, and Agent Hodge on bass and vocals. After years of line-up changes, drunken fiascos, moves out of town, moves back, and other small town foolishness, these four stared down the Fates, accepted the inevitable and finalized this line-up in 2005. These poor Mississippi boys have toured as far north as Baltimore and Chicago, as far west as Houston, TX and as far south as Tampa, FL, and they wont be satisfied until they have personally adorned the bathroom walls of every bar in North America with Young Agent Jones stickers. The band has shared stages with an impressive and interesting list of bands including: Of Montreal, Bishop Allen, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Burden Brothers, Stroke 9, Mando Diao, Ben Lee, Will Hoge, Caddle, Tuff Luvs, Living Better Electrically, Jill Sobule and Model Citizen, to name a few.
