Asilent was formed 2004 Oct period, it all started with Anil (ex Abyssal Nemesis), Grinder(ex Erametin now Harmatia ex Reverie) and Ace wanting to form a band playing straight out heavy music.
We were looking for another guitarist, and not long after Grinder met Thoracic (ex Reverie & ex Abyssal Nemesis). Grinder then asked Thoracic whether he was interested as both of them used to play together before. Thoracic loved the idea so he decided to bring in a heavier punch to the music with his influences such as Marduk & Emperor and joined the band. At that point of time too, we were looking for a drummer. One of our close friends, Psyclown (ex Abyssal Nemesis), just came out of military prison after a long sentence, so we decided to try him out. Straight after the try out, Grinder wants him to take over drums.
Problems arose shortly, when Anil had some conflicts with the band as he didn’t see a future in the band and decided to leave. Ace too, couldn’t click with us musically and wasn’t progressing, so he left too. At that point of time, it was just Grinder, Psyclown & Thoracic left. All of them were dejected as they’ve been in and out of bands before and thought this was the end but they never gave up.
A few weeks later Grinder and Psyclown were bumming around in Far East Plaza, when they met an old close friend Cadaver (ex Abyssal Nemesis). They were just chatting until it came to a point when Grinder & Psyclown had an idea of bringing in Cadaver for drum duties. Cadaver is fast paced and has technicality in drumming, and that’s what we wanted in our sound. So we decided to try him out. The following jamming session was awesome so the decision was that Cadaver took over drums.
Psyclown was lost at that point as his position was taken over. Grinder proposed to Psyclown to move to vocals, which he did and didn’t regret. Later Psyclown and Grinder decided to bring in another guitarist to bring in a hard-hitting and brutal feel to the sound. That is when Psyclown introduced his close friend Raebeast. He caught Grinder's and Psyclown's attention when he played Laid To Rest by Lamb Of God and one of our originals upon hearing it. Grinder and Psyclown was extremely impressed, and so decided to bring him in.
