True passion still exists in the souls of few. This rock/pop/funk group gives a new meaning to the genre “pop rock†with their energetic performances that can’t be tamed. Forming in September of 2007 in Lexington, KY, Much is Given, aka M.I.G, hit the ground running. Ready to release their first EP album “2:twelve †in April of 2008. M.I.G.’s lifelines are Brandon squared, a Sean, and a Scooby. Sorry there isn’t a shaggy or scrappy.
Brandon Meadows takes the front man role. Not shying away from a microphone he also finds time to play lead guitar as well. Sean Meadows, Brandon’s younger brother, rounds out the sound with the untouchable harmonies with his brother, workin the keys, and beating his Djembe drum.
Brandon Kozlowski widely known as just “Koz†bangs on the bass, holding down the bottom end. His outgoing personality and wireless system allows him to bring the show literally in your face. Lorenzo “Scooby†Williams power packs the lineup on drums. With his years of experience as a talented percussionist and producer he commands immediate respect from fans and artists alike. Recently M.I.G.’s music from their debut album “2:twelve°â€ caught the ears of Jesse Harris, the writer of the independent film “Surviving Guthrie†sponsored by Georgetown College. And two songs were selected to be featured in the movie, "Standing on the Runway" and "Define Security". M.I.G has been taking stages all across Central Kentucky and now expanding to a regional market with bookings in Cincinnati, Louisville, and Indianapolis. The four maintain a professional outlook, and an open mind to create a sound like none of the rest. Commitment, Dedication, and Perseverance sets the stage for much to expect.
