cool people. people that like to have fun and dont let too many things get in the way of that.
I like cool music in general. I like world music. I try to stay away from mainstream. It can be good, but I just dont want to get into it. I like incubus. Thats pretty mainstream but its ok. They're an exception. There's a lot out there to try, and I want to try it all. At the moment, im so much into Bhangra and indian music in general. Man, it just makes me want to dance. Lately Ive been thinking about hip hop. Not the stupid, "I got mah bling bling n mah hoes" crap. But good stuff like black eyed peas and common. stuff like that. I havent started yet but yeah.. I kind of tried to stay away from "black music" for a while. because i just didnt want to be labeled a black girl just cause im... well, a black girl. and I wanted to get away from it. Ive been around it my whole life.. Things get boring. but know ive had my break and ive had a chance to see what I(emphasis) like. so now i can go back with the right(my) taste, not the radio's or anyone else. I need to do the same thing with rock. But not so drastically because im not as wrapped up like i was with rap.
white oleander the movie. haha. I like the other sister. other giovoni ribisi movies. he's like one of my favorite actors. AMELIE. i love that movie so much. then there's other movies from my childhood. there's what about bob, drop dead fred, and matilda, i love matilda. and i like disney movies. they're really cute.I'm also trying to get into more indie films.. I like requiem for a dream. I want to watch more foreign films and artistic ones. I watched two girls and a guy last night. It had a very interesting plot. I like things like that.

Man, I havent read a book in a LONG time. Its like I dont have time. I know that if i start reading then i would rather do that than do work or study, then ill do that all the time. but i like to read. you should see my vocabulary, how horrible it is. I have to use a thesarus on every other word when im writing an essay. yeah. i need to read. anyway. My favorite book is white oleander. There's also this other book. It sucks because I cant remember the name. It was about this girl who lost her voice because her dad beat her. And she had a boyfriends. I cant remember much, just that I liked it. If anyone thinks that they might just know what im talking about, can you let me know?? thanks.
I want to be like phoebe, from friends. She's my type of person. she's so free spirited, funny, uninhibited, and funky. she's very interesting. I want to be just like her.
