I'd like to meet:
The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, Nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when they discover that someone else believes in them and is willing to trust them. Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. To the world you might be one person; but to one person you might be the world. Real friends are those who, when you feel you've made a fool of yourself, don't feel you've done a permanent job. In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. There is as much difference between the counsel that a friend giveth, and that a man giveth himself, as there is between the counsel of a friend and a flatterer. Never refuse any advance of friendship, for if nine out of ten bring you nothing, one alone may repay you. Between men and women there is no friendship possible. There is passion, enmity, worship, love, but no friendship. The making of friends who are real friends, is the best token we have of a man's success in life. And say my glory was I had such friends. I want to be your friend, for ever and ever without break of decay. When the hills are all flat and the river are all dry, When it lightens and thunders in winter, when it rains and snows in summer, when Heaven and Earth mingle - not till then will I part from you.
