The Comedy Of Error

The Comedy Of Error started in 2003 with the release of "The Hypothesis of Elastic Adolescence." This release was a 6 song EP, recorded at a studio known as SONICTRAX, in which featured the bands first songs as a thriving group. The EP was what gained a number of fans that had selective taste and youth searching for something different in the local scene. Shortly after the EP was released, the band broke up and spawned in different directions, for what was almost a year. At the tail end of 2004, the band decided to regroup and write music that was more strait forward, but still held the initial idea of trying something different. Bryan Duffy created a bond with his brother, Sean Duffy, and his close friend Matt Camacho. This bond is what enabled a second coming of The Comedy Of Error. This time around the band would focus on a full length album entitled "Logical Systems of The Past." The full length, recorded with RJ from 7th Note Productions, tackles the ideas of life and death. What we see as youth and what disappears as we gain age. How we evolve as individuals and what we see in today's world. It covers a broad range of sounds spanning from the lost and the hopeless to the found and the hopeful. In 2006 The Comedy Of Error embarked on writing new material for a third release. The release was set to be an EP based on the current political standings and the way the world was reacting to the governments actions. The band took these songs on a six day tour across Florida with When Tides Collide, another local Florida band. At the end of the tour Bryan Duffy decided that the band should take a hiatus and handle other things in life. What we have been left with is a few unreleased live recordings and three guys who are currently not writing music together. Maybe someday this will change...but for now The Comedy Of Error is just a name. Matt Camacho currently is a painter in Florida. Bryan Duffy is now married and working on a film and other music and writings. Sean Duffy is a volunteer fire fighter.best wishes
