This is something I've recently realized:
I claim to be a renaissance man. But I'm pretty sure that just means I think I know a bit about everything but I don't know much about anything. I'm not sure if that's a good thing but I do get by with it.
I was born in Taiwan and moved to LA when I was 4.
I've studied abroad and am fluently trilingual in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish (Castillian), and I'll give you a few guesses as to what the third language is.
I love to travel. I've only done some of Europe and Asia but I want more...
visited 13 countries- like to visit 32 countries
Create your own world map
I used to be a musician. I played piano when I was little. I then dabbled in the world of guitar. I then went on to play trumpet all through middle and high school, and some college. I think I can still get by on the trumpet, but my piano and guitar skills are sorely lacking.
I love living life and find pleasure in life's simple things. A drive up the coast in a rainstorm or a night in curled up on a couch watching classic movies is all good to me.
I'm a grammar and spelling whore. I'm not perfect at it, but damnit I try! But I absolutely cannot stand people who continually get "your" and "you're" wrong. LEARN THE DIFFERENCE, BITCHES!
I love technology and consider myself a futurist. That's because I watch Star Trek. Yes I said Star Trek. But not in a nerdly or geeky way. Well, maybe just a little bit.
I've been told I resemble Master Heixin from the movie "Shaolin Temple"... what do you think?
I'm an idealist, but I'm a realist at the same time. At times I find myself confused by that previous statement too. The glass isn't half full, nor is it half empty... it's simply a glass with water in it.
I hate pretentious people. I hate the artsy and the weird for the sake of weird things that people do. Your poetry sucks. Get over it.
I suck at dancing and don't do it often... unless I'm drunk at which point anything goes.
I'm over the whole club scene. People think it's weird for me to be over it before I even turn 24... but they forget I went to Madrid and lived there for a year when I was 17. The scene there was better than anywhere I've been in LA or NY... plus if you read the statement above, I suck at dancing. Even though I'm don't particularly like clubs, I'll still go on occasion, although I prefer lounges and bars. A nice place to chill and drink with friends is all I need!
I like to drink. Not on a regular basis or anything, but when I go to an establishment where alcohol is served I enjoy the liberal partaking of libations that ends with my inebriation. These two cartoons sum up my drinking experience.
I'm shy. I try not to act like it though, but deep down I am.
I love my Honda Element and don't care what you think. It's my cool plastic box on wheels.
I make movies now, and it's the best thing that's happened to me.
I love food... all kinds of food. I enjoy eating and tasting and enjoying all the flavors every culture has to offer. It's probably why I've put on a good 40 pounds since high school.
I like the way my blankets and sheets feel on my feet when I take my socks off after a long day and slip into bed.
I recently purchased a semi-pro camera. I'm like, trying to be a photographer or something. Anyway, click on this photo below to go to my photoblog on Flickr:
I love Jamba Juice.
I'm spontaneous.
Boo!
Did I scare you? See, I told you I was spontaneous. But then again I'm also pretty goofy at times too. But more often than not I'm laid back and pretty chill.
I wear my heart on my sleeve and that always gets me in trouble.
Apparently, this is me:
