Formed in early 2007 by the vocalist / guitarist, Justin Anderson and the drummer, Matt Chapko, Open Addiction has rearranged the line up several times in search for the right members. The name Open Addiction derived from Justin’s past struggles with drugs and addictions. The name alone is a bold statement encouraging fans to be open to others about oneself in any ways possible. Along with this, the act of writing unique and catchy music with relatable lyrics has a profound impact on listeners.
The trio’s live show is where they pride themselves the most. Although they are a three piece, the crowd is never disappointed. The interaction with fans and the significant sound they bring to the table easily surpasses a band that contains more members.
They have shared the stage with national acts, as well as making themselves known locally and on the regional level. The true passion for music drives them to play any show, anytime. They are currently seeking artist representatives, labels, and other management opportunities to help take their dreams and talent to the next level.
