Like most people, I can be a head case. I use to work a full time job and two part time jobs just to keep busy and help tackle some bills. I found that working and spending time with my son became my life. I needed to make a change and do something for me, grow a social life or something, basically stop being a workaholic.
Late this summer (2006) I quit one of my three jobs (the part time job that was most demanding, least pay and most stressful). I'm finding myself with free time that I'm not use to having. What to do? I've been spending my extra time with my son and the new friends I have found in Douglasville and the surrounding areas, I'm also spending more time at home then I ever imagined.
As you can see from my pics, my son is very important to me. We are best-friends (except when he's in trouble) and have lots of adventures together. After my son's mother and I divorced, I wanted to give Alex something that no one can take away. I wanted to give him life-long memories and teach him to follow what feels right in his heart while using common sense so he doesn't hurt or harm anyone. Alex is who I hold closest to my heart; most of the time I feel I need him more then he needs me. I would love to tell you more about him so just ask.
I'm an adventure seeker and love to travel. I enjoy testing limits and truly believe that everyone is my friend. I had few goals in my life and that was to enjoy myself, have fun, and lots of stories to tell. My busy life has given me the stories but was lacking on the fun... I woke up one morning and realized my summer jobs (part time job ..1 and ..2) have been going on for more then 5 years. Where does the time go? Where ever it is, I can't take it back. My life has been an adventure and now it's time to kick it up a notch and start a new chapter.
I truly feel life is much like a roller-coaster ride with it's ups, it's downs and it's wild turn of events. And like a roller-coaster you can close you eyes and hold on tight, make yourself stiff and expect wild turns to that seem to come from no where. Or you can enjoy your ride much like what I strive for, I'm holding my hands up high and keep my eyes open, I'll sway through the turns and try to not bump the person next to me (at least not too hard). How ever you choice to ride is your choice, it's your life but always remember, you only get one ticket... and so do the rest of us- think about that, OK.
My Friends list: I've learned to keep my friends list tight. Read my blogs, exchange a few emails and lets get to know each other; and if you live close, we can get together for drinks but let also be real, I don't need a fan club nor do I want to add to yours (major bands and organizations are the exception).
