I am here for Friends

About Me

I love indie rock, tofu curry, hairless cats, lancelot link secret chimp, animals, sarcastic people, and loads of other stuff. I'm laid back, not too much trouble, can't stand any kind of relationship dramas or emotionally disturbed people. I love videogames, rollerblading, and meditation. I like finding new weird hobbies, and I don't have cable. I love Netflix. I order good shows off there. I hate commercials anyhow. But don't think my lack of TV watching is somehow an elitist smarty pants thing. I just waste time on other things. LIKE THE INTERNET. hehehe

My Interests

- coming up with stupid plots for sitcoms, new world orders, ninja revolutions. - being persistent enough to continue playing videogames I will never excel at. - thinking of new and creative ways to incite various duels with my roommate. typing contests, tetris contests, etc. its an endless cycle of shit talking and competition. I thrive on it. - grooming my hairless cat.

I'd like to meet:

friends who can type quick enough to talk on AIM with me at a reasonable pace. people who love trading funny websites, chatting about music and movies, and making up stories about how we will one day take over the world with cat like speed and reflexes. conservatives, creed fans, and people who are not crescent fresh need not apply. if you voted for GW in the last election, please get your head out of your ass....and certainly do not write to me.Check out Milena jammin to some hippie music at her first concert:Check out Milena's moves!

Music:

gomez, modest mouse, death cab for cutie, weezer, sonic youth, dismemberment plan, dashboard confessional, the sea and cake, the kicks, elliot smith, sunny day real estate, helium, built to spill, low, neutral milk hotel, fela kuti, portishead, hole (can't help but love courtney....), belle and sebastian, radiohead, promise ring, beck, flaming lips, jets to brazil, they might be giants, braid, smashing pumpkins, counting crows, get up kids, maceo parker, polyphonic spree, broken social scene, ummmm I think thats enough.

Movies:

Kicking and Screaming, Rushmore, Royal Tennebaums, School of Rock, Old School, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Big Man on Campus, Corey Haim/Corey Feldman madcap adventures, Not Another Teen Movie, American Beauty, Office Space, Billy Madison, Before Sunrise, Tommy Boy, Run Ronnie Run, etc.

Television:

I don't watch TV so much. I don't have cable. But I rent shows on Netflix and watch those. I've been renting a lot of Aqua Teen Hunger Force lately, much to the chagrin of everyone else at the house. When I'm at a friend's house with cable, I like to watch those home decorating shows like Trading Spaces. Its a good thing I don't have cable ;)

Books:

I love to read. Favorites include Harry Potter (don't knock em until you read em), Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, Bee Season by Myla Goldberg, and the best book in the world that I just read is called The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Marc Haddon. It is sooo good.

Heroes:

MICHAEL MOORE!!!, Harry Potter, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Liam Lynch (creator of Sifl N Olly), Lemony Snicket. Hunter S. Thompson for describing Houston like this: "Houston is a cruel and crazy town on a filthy river in East Texas with no zoning laws and a culture of sex, money and violence. It's a shabby sprawling metropolis ruled by brazen women, crooked cops and super-rich pansexual cowboys who live by the code of the West -- which can mean just about anything you need it to mean, in a pinch."
