Praying To Stay In Your Arms Just Until I Can Die A Little Bit Longer

About Me

What's to say about me? I am a Proud Wife, Aunt, Gamer, Fan/Lover/Obsessed With (In A Very Safe Way!) of Maynard! Lover of Music especially but all things art. Dare I say I am an artist myself? Fuck it, I will say it. Devoted friend to those that show me that same respect. Seeker of more knowledge, forever. Wannabe wine connoisseur (in training!), a healthy foods cook, environmentalist, activist, impassioned when it comes to music, the environment, books, my family, my beliefs. I'm the kinda girl that is impressed with a person that'll give me their favorite book, marking their favorite quote with a rose squished between the pages. I'm the kinda girl that wont complain about her man going to hang out with the guys, I'm the kinda girl that makes my In Laws love me, and behind closed doors well.. *winks*. I'm the kinda girl that would love to kick your ass in a game but'll give you smooches afterwards. (Yes I am a shit talker on XboX Live! Muahaha!) I'm the kinda girl that most girls will want as a bestfriend (or just hate on) and I am the kinda girl most of the guys just like to hang out with. I can carry myself with a sense of professionalism, that doesnt mean I dont like to get my ass beat or beat someones ass in the mosh pit. I can talk with you about Dostoevsky, Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir. At the same time, I can talk to you about "The Family Guy" or "The Sopranos", I'll keep it all very real.I love my hubby! I am happily married to the most beautiful, loving, awesome, supportive, caring, silly, gorgeous man to ever exist! I love exercising with him, watching movies with him, snuggling him, looking into his gorgeous brown eyes, smooching his puffy lips, being myself with him, vacationing with him and loving him every second of my life. He's the best thing that God has ever bestowed onto me. My center, the other piece to this puzzle, my soulmate, my very existance! We're going on 5 years and that's only the begininning of our existance together baby! "So Weak And Powerless Over You!"

My Interests

It's almost impossible for me to name all my interests. I am sooo knowledge hungry! I grab and conquer everything that interests me. I am obsessed with music. It influences me in every way possible. I am very artsy. I love acting, singing, dancing, poetry, painting, playing instruments, writing short stories, scrapbooking, decorating, doing make up, making my own short movies and slideshows (Machinama), I love reading too! Did I mention I am a gamer chick? Yus, I say it with pride! I've played many games but the ones that left prints on me forever are: Resident Evil 2 and 3, Code Veronica and 4. Grand Theft Auto! *My All Time Fav Game Evar!* I am currently shooting randoms in GTA:IV, creating insanity in the Sims 2: Free Time AND! Exploring the world that is Neverwinter Nights 2! Also excited about Fallout 3!I also call myself an 'In The Closet' environmentalist, only because I don't think I have learned everything I'd like to just yet about the entire situation to be one of those outspoken ones. But I am continuously studying the issue, learning more about what changes I can make. Doing my part, even if it's a small one, against the effects of global warming. Learn it, preach it, make a difference. Some of my favorite links are..http://earth911.org/http://www.preserveourplanet.comhtt p://www.treehugger.com/Yes, I am a tree hugger now fuck off :D

I'd like to meet:

Ah lets see...I want to meet intellects, artists, people with a sense of humor, unique people, activists, anybody who has something to teach me, people impassioned with certain topics and love to debate. People that are loving and open minded. People that like to give advice and people that like to listen. People that are in love with music like me! Motivated people, energetic people, people that like to conversate about randomness & stuff. My dream list of people I would like to meet: Maynard James Keenan of course! Also: David Draiman, Tool (ALL 4 OF MY BOYS!), Paz and Ana Lenchantin, Cristina Scabbia, Joshua Bell, Yo-Yo Ma, Deftones, Static-X, Wentworth Miller, Tim Burton, Edie Falco, Billy Howerdel, Jay Gordon, Sully Erna, Anne Rice.. (we could possibly be here for days...)-BANDS- Yes, I WILL check out your page and I just might add you if I am into your music. ((Emo, Country and Rap Need NOT Apply..Unless you're old school rap cuz I like me some old school rap and R&B!)) That was one of the main reasons I joined My Space, to be able to hear from bands you normally might never hear from. You have my full support! Rock on and keep it fuckin' Metal!View All Friends | View Blog | View Pics | Add Comment

Music:

Music is something very special in my life. It is there when nobody else is. It has been ever since I was a little girl. When I was afraid to do everything else, the one thing I was not afraid to do was grab a microphone and get on stage. It can cheer me up or hold me close when I am feeling down. I have an indescribable passion for my music, one that is unmatched! I can name some bands here but I can never finish naming the many people that have inspired me through out my life. The great and classic composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Rochmaninov, Tchaikovsky who are amongst my favorite. Not even slightly limited to what is said below and here, 50's music is also some of my favorite The Platters, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, Jackie Wilson, A lot of Doo-Wop!And there are those few people in my life who have just made the difference in so many ways. Stood out for one reason or another.Selena, I was her biggest fan for the longest time when I was younger. She will always be special to me and be a very important figure in my life. I remember singing into my brush to her songs and copying her every dance move. One of the biggest compliments in my life was when my nephew at a young age, used to look at her pictures and say it was "Tia Bo" (Me!). He was silly of course but I didn't care, it made me feel like I was on top of the world because she was beautiful in every way!Aaliyah, I was also a big fan of hers. She inspired me a lot too so I hold her close to me as well. I think she was truely unique in her ways. Could you honestly place her only in the r&b genre? I don't think so. Her style of dance and song was just untouchable and unmatched to this very day.My lovely Maynard, because his talent is endless. He seems to amaze me with everything he does, his voice leaves me in awe everytime I listen to him, no matter how many times I've heard whatever song I may be listening to. ((Even The Cuntry Boner Song babeh!!)) It's far beyond his voice though, this man truely is unique and intelligent and I just admire him as a person.Paz Lenchantin, because she is just..so talented! Singing and on the strings, that's my girl and she inspires me to do the things I wish to do most, which is to learn to play and master the strings as she has done. Luff you Paz!Anna Lenchantin, because she is just amazing on the strings! I think God seriously blessed these girls with such a lovely talent, they're my inspiration everyday.Joshua Bell....just wow. Everything of his that I've had the pleasure of hearing, I have kept close to my heart. Such passion in every stroke of his violin and what's amazing is, I can swear this passion is so thick it's near tangible.Yo yo Ma..I never knew really that a cello could be so amazing. Both he and Anna Lenchantin have made me fall in love with this instrument and appreciate it just as much as my beloved violin. So, there's a little taste of me and my passion for my music. I breathe it, I taste it, it's the wind surrounding me, the beat in my every step, it inspires the passion you see in my gaze and highlights moments through out my life.Nearly impossible for me to name every band that has touched me and influenced who I am, represented how I feel. In no particular order: TOOL, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Mudvayne, Disturbed, STAIND, Deftones, Orgy, KoRn, Static-X, HellYeah, Godhead, Kidney Thieves, Type O Negative, Cradle of Filth, Black Label Society, Godsmack, Drowning Pool, Prodigy, COAL CHAMBER, Soulfly, Lamb of God, DEVILDRIVER, System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails, Combichrist, Cold, Five Finger Death Punch, Kittie, Lacuna Coil, Rob Zombie, Slipknot, American Head Charge, MushroomHead, Slayer, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Pink Floyd, Dope, Lords of Acid, Incubus, Rammstein, Sevendust. I have to include "The Queen of the Damned" original motion picture soundtrack and score both of which I never get tired of hearing and "The Red Violin" soundtrack which is a damn masterpiece. AND! The score for "Memoirs of A Geisha"..amazing!

Books:

I Loooove reading! I am a proud book worm, happily devouring any book within reach! I am currently devouring Stephanie Meyers Twilight Series. Undoubtedly written for the younger genre of readers but I love vampires and I think Edward is the smexiest thing next to Lestat! Other favs would include...* Anne Rice of course! Heroes:

My Mum, My sister Sandra, My hubby. Still, I tend to find a bit of a hero in a lot of people. Single parents and parents in general that love and support their children, activists, loving spouses, caring friends, guys that know the meaning of chivalry and women that respect themselves, teachers, hard workers, children that fight for an education, the many soldiers that have fallen and the ones that risk their lives for us daily and the many who are in training, people that pursue their dreams. I think everyone has a bit of a hero hidden within themselves. 3~
