Influences: I would have to say the largest influence would have to be my grandfather (Larry Moore). I used to sit and listen to him sing and play the mandolin, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar for hours as a child. He passed away when I was 17 yrs old and I had never shown any interest in the entertainment business when he was alive. The crazy thing about him is that he was in a horse accident and got into songwriting and singing, and that is how I got into this as well,, spooky! I truely regret not showing an interest, he could have taught me so much and I'm sure he would have been very supportive!! He was a singer/songwriter in the late 40's and early 50's and very respected for his work. I have learned more about him in the last 2 yrs. than I ever knew when he was alive. He was a very humble man and never talked about his accomplishments. My Grandpa (Larry Moore) had a four year recording contract with Rose Records, the same label that Hank Williams Sr. was signed to. In that time he wrote numerous songs that were big up north. He had some regular spots on Radio and T.V. shows as well as live shows. Every once in a while I run into someone that is older and knows something about him that I did not. It is always a pleasure to hear more about the man. Some times during a live show I could swear that I feel his presence on stage with me! That is a whole other story that won't fit in this space! I would give anything to have done a live show with him. I was the least likely to ever pursue a career in the music bus. I think my entire family is still in shock. My other influences are broad and way to many to mention. The one thing the band and I strive for is to have an original sound and I believe we are producing just that. Thank you so much for your support. Brant Moore
