Rain, forests, waterfalls, bodies of water, theater, non-human mortals, Earth, Middle-Earth, candle-making, sewing, hot wax, and sensory deprivation. Many other things; I find beauty in most small, incosequential things. Photography, fire, Animal medical, BDSM, different types of dance, and the many different forms of art (especially H.R. Giger). I am completely fascinated by the whole mideval/renissance era. Think Vlad Dracula and Elizabeth Bathory. Anything that is involved in fairytales and folklore (ex. Trolls, elves, unicorns, fairies, pixies, etc.) I am a spiritual person with no particular religion. I don't believe in organized religion, either. Music is also a very important part of my life. I like long intelligent conversations with intelligent individuals. One day I will go to an Burning Man event in Black Rock City, Nevada. I believe in ghosts and aliens and different univeres and dimensions. I am also fascinated with the supernatural, but then who isn't?
Who I DON'T want to meet: Closed-minded people who destroy the things around them without thinking. Nothing is more annoying to me than an uber-macho, testosterone-tripping egomaniac. Call me judgemental, but I'm not too fond of lesbians-feminists out there who have double-standards and Male-hating campains. ICP is a lot more tolerable to me than Juggalos. I Can't stand flakey people. If you can't have an intelligent conversation, don't even bother pretending you can and trying to have one with me, it's a waste of my energy. Let's see who else? People who hate Christians, Bible-thumpers, People who like to hurt animals, and bad drivers.Who I do want to meet?. Everyone. :-) People who know how to have a good time without making complete asses out of themselves (like I do). I love girlie men, Ex.- Crossdressers, drag queens, Transsexuals, guys who wear tighter pants (oh laalaa!), andros, and even the guys who wear panties under their baggy ass pants and eyeliner. Dag kids are fun. Fellow fetish models, doms, subs, dorks, and rivet/metalheads are always a plus. My soulmate. I would like to meet me in 10 years, and me 10 years ago. Anyone with real pointy ears or wings. What I look for in a companion: Someone who smells good. He has the mind of a wise old man, but the spirt of a young boy. He is intelligent, witty, calm, and playful. Very, very playful. He thinks before he speaks. He understands that although I am not a damsel in distress, he can still be my Knight without taking away my freedom and independence. He is patient. And he knows that I will have lots and lots of stray animals coming in and out of my home. That may sound demanding, but I believe when it comes to your heart, you are allowed to be demanding. (If he appreciates my awkwardness, that's a plus, too.)
Music is one of the most important aspects of my life. All day, everyday, I am surrounded by it and it makes things so much easier. I listen to everything that is a little bit heavy. I'm not going to list every bad that I like, or else I'd be here all day. I have an unhealthy obsession with Silverchair. Some of my other favorites include Cinema Strange, Combichrist, NIN, Type O Negative, Cradle of Filth, HIM, Gogal Bordelo, Sisters of Mercy, Ministry, Gold Frapp, Alice Cooper, White Zombie, The Genitortures, KMFDM, Nitzer Ebb, Skinny Puppy, Marilyn Manson, and so many more. I do have a guilty pleasure band, but if you want to know who it is, ask me personally. I am a rivet-head and a metal-head. I also like punk, rock, some old school rock, 80's hair metal, some hardcore, some synth-pop, industial, and then there are some bands that can't even be classified. I think I covered the basics.I also like music I can meditate to. World flutes, Indian chants, Irish folk, belly-dancing music, and so on.
The 2 genres I watch the most is horror and comedy. I love Epic movies as well. I am a sucker for stupid-humor movies like "Not another Teen Movie". Basically anything that Tim Burton is involved with. The Crow, Nightmare before X-mas, Edward Scissor hands, The Emperor's New Groove, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Zoolander, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Bully, V for Vendetta, Breakfast on Pluto are some of my favs. I also like biographies and documentaries. I also reaaalllly like movies based on real Serial Killers like Gacy and Dahmer. Lord of the Rings, Legend, Pirates of the Carribean and the like.
The only good TV is a Tim TV.
The Anita Blake vampire Hunter Novels by Laurell K. Hamilton. I also like Serial Killer books, like Slow Death (David Ray Parker). Since I have no particular religion, I've been reading about many different religions, all of them have their good points. I'm still disenchanted, though. I also like reading about criminal psychology and masterminds. Fantasies like Hamiliton and William Johnstone. I've read several parts of the bible. It really is a good story book, notice I said STORY and not manual for how to live one's life. I've also read a little bit of Anton LaVey. I finished the Satanic Bible and the Satanic Witch not too long ago and to be quite honest I'm not really all that impressed. He makes a lot of good points, but he's just another author with an opinion to me.I read and loved "Lords of Chaos" If you consider yourself "hardcore" or extreme, this book may make you laugh at yourself. If it doesn't, stick your head in a toilet and breathe. :-DObviously J.R.R. Tolkien. Anyone have any suggestions for any other epic series?
Mother, My dad, Mom. Tami, Gypsy. Some fictional characters I'd rather not name in order to retain SOME of my coolness. :-pI am also my own hero. No one takes care of me better than me. Lisa, thank you, seriously.
