I am on My Space to reconnect with old friends / acquaintances, considering I am all the way across the United States from where I may have originally met them.But as for my story… HOW THE HELL DID NENA END UP IN THE EAST COAST???!!! Is usually the first question that pops into my everyone's head.After high school, things were not going so well, so I went to live in San Antonio with grandma and grandpa, some of you may have met them. Grandma’s getting old fast, not doing too well. But Grandpa is just as chipper as always. Loosing his life partner, but maintains good spirits.While in TEXAS, I met this guy (my great friend). Once he graduated college, he got a job offer here in the DC metro. He asked if I’d like to go along. And Nena, being the outgoing spontaneous gal that she is, said “Sure”. Not knowing what I was going to end up doing. School was and still is definitely in mind.I started working at a financial institution, and an offer that I just couldn’t resist fell into my lap. I took it!! Now here I am, “STUCK IN VIRGINIA!!” Well, stuck in the DC metro area, mainly because of the job, money, and most of all the security. However, I am not afraid to pickup and move abroad. Which I probably should do, really put that French I have learned to use, and get in contact with my friends I randomly helped get to the airport, who live in Italy.Now, I’m just living in Northern VA, enjoying the single life. Working a lot, traveling the area, meeting a lot of people, and enjoying Nena!! (which I had not been able to do for the past four years). I was catering to someone else’s needs way more than my own, out of my own giving nature, not at fault of anyone but my own.Off to watch the GATORS kick some Ohio AAASSSSS!!!Ciao!============================================ =============== What Office Space character are you?
