My life basically revolves around music, Target and any of the seven deadly sins at any given time. I occasionally find time for school, reading, sleeping, photography and spending money I don't have. What I'm listening to usually depends on how badly my vagina is bleeding and/or how many hours I've worked that week. (It gets progressively more brutal as those two factors escalate). First, let me start out by saying: AFI!!! I love metal and hardcore and all the ridiculous subgenres that follow those two -- Christian, death, thrash, glam, speed, brocore, epic, classic, tech, two-step, chaos, xXx, prog/experimental, local, international, whatever. I will occasionally admit to even listening to a small amount of nu metal. (Gross.)
Beyond that, my tastes cover a pretty broad range, stopping short of the likes of Shania Twain and any of her bloody peers. I like tortured female music (Fiona Apple, Dresden Dolls); whiny emo shit (Death Cab, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New); anything epic or unneccessarily grandiose (Queen, Dragonforce, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance); industrial and goth to satisfy all the little black spots of my soul (NIN, Manson, VNV Nation); boys with pianos (Something Corporate, Ben Folds); easily digestable college rock (Incubus, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers); weird shit (Pink Floyd, The Mars Volta, The Sound of Animals Fighting); stuff I listened to when I was twelve (Nirvana, Everclear, Beck); even The Stuff My Parents Listen To (Barenaked Ladies, They Might Be Giants, Journey). There's a lot more -- just ask me. 'Cos I could go on. Really. For a long, long time.
