Please don't reply to this if you're a kid, I hate having to say no.I’ve kept a journal for years, and although it’s much easier to “paste” my most honest, and personal thoughts, stories, and experiences, the probability of you even scratching the surface of my onion like-ness, in those countless pages is in fact, slim to none. THEREFORE! I’ve arranged a much happier format for you to read!!!I AM JOSHUA!Hello! (I just waved at the computer screen, You should wave back it’ll be fun!) In the following pages I am going to be completely blunt, honest, and in the end hopeful, that me and you and anyone who reads this feels better about their existence on this diverse place called earth, because when it comes down to the nitty-gritty we are all ourselves, but ourselves are just about it.First glance:21 years old. I am 5 Feet 11 Inches. I weigh 135 pounds. I wear large black glasses. I have blue eyes. I dye my hair dark brown, about once every 5-6 months, but I should dye it about every 2, because my roots always show. I have medium/long hair. I have BILLIONS OF CLOTHES AND SHOES. I am the most pale person I know, and I just thought about starting a club called “Pale People”, (PP! for short) I suppose I’d have a better feeling of belonging if I were surrounded by people who also glow in the dark. Plus, imagine how awesome it would be if every time you saw a member, it were mandatory to shout out the secret club’s initials. YO PP!!!!!!! I guess it’s not that funny, but moving on… besides being pale to the extreme, I also have a mild case of freckles- on the arms, as a kid I was sort of embarrassed of having freckles, but now I think they’re pretty great, and I also secretly wish that someone would play connect the dots on my arm while I slept. I exercise when I can, which honestly varies, I ran cross country for six years from middle school threw high school, so I suppose I’m fit. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO DO A PULL UP. EVER!!!!!!!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I’VE TRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Humiliating story I just thought of: In high school (I believe 11th grade) I was the only one in my PE class (out of about 40 guys) to be unable to do a pull-up. I’d like leave out the fact that even the kid with down syndrome did a pull-up. So in the 11th grade, a harsh reality of life hit me: I couldn’t even make it in the Special Olympics. I could go on and on about what I look like, but you’ve already made up your mind.ONWARD!!!!Randomized Facts, and great conversation starters: Existentialist- I am responsible for myself. Agnostic- I need solid proof. I believe in universal truth for every individual, everyone has the right to believe in something, and who am I to say anything or anyone is wrong (this applies to the big everything as well, not just religion). Idealist- I’m often late, I procrastinate, I take drives in the middle of the night, I randomly post strangers on myspace and give them words of encouragement, I dream of going and doing millions of places, and things, but I’ve yet to accomplish much of any of my trillion goals. I live the most eventful life. I have a few good stories. Especially about poop. I’d like to travel, and keep creating art. I want to own an electric guitar again. Optimist: Not 100%, but I’d like to consider myself a “glass –half full” kind of guy. Every person I meet I make a valiant effort to understand them as much as possible, (This is a flaw I think many have - - if we were to take the time to understand one another, this world would have fewer social mishaps.) If knowledge were a babe, I’d totally bone her. I talk OUTRAGEOUSLY fast. And I always seem like I’m full of energy, I talk with my hands often.I’m not too fond of many things, and since this is public, ask me privately, and I’ll be more than happy to share my rant on a plethora of topics. Mainly, capitalism. (The free exchange of goods and services in which those who have capital are able to collect more, at the expense of those who do not.) I’m sort of a hopeless romantic, let’s face it. I’m a sap. I cry when I watch movies… hard.I read a lot of non-fiction, I write fiction. On occasion. I take photos, whenever a photo needs to be taken. I create for myself. I am a student, Media Studies Major, Psych Minor. I need a room-mate. I always smell REALLY nice. (what can I say, I take care of myself!) I eat healthy, however I consume the occasional alcohol. (I think beer tastes like ass though.) I’m thrifty, innovative, and can fix just about anything, unless it’s in pieces. A DIY, kind of guy. I’m the hugest dork ever. I love fall. I like the smell of gasoline, crayons, and air conditioner fluid. (Weird huh?) I break social norms quite often…. subconsciously. Borderline extremist. I try my best to be honest in a world where only liars survive. I wish zombies were real. A huge fantasy of mine is to become a revolutionary. I'm a “Real” person.and I need some zzzzzzzzzzzz's.
