Well let’s see.. I guess I should update the “About Me†section; it has been a while, so here’s the new and improved updated story about me :) For the basics, I’m 27 years old (i'm an Aries, the Ram hehe) 5'8" I have hazel eyes and 140lbs (give or take how much I eat during the week, I love food, what can I say I’m Italiano). I was born in New York City and lived most of my life in Long Island, New York.
It’s been over a year now since I’ve been living in Southern California, after recently living in San Francisco for a while. It’s also been over a year now since I left my partner of four years; do from cheating and physical abuse. But, even though I’ve had bad experiences with love and relationships’ (like most of us do) I still believe in love and wait patiently for that special someone to sweep me off me feet.
I come from an amazingly close and loving family, and I hold family values very close to my heart. I am truly blessed, and I wouldn’t have come as far as I have in life or who I am as a person today without my family and friends. I also come from a Roman Catholic family (being from NY and Italian) although I don’t fully agree with some issues with my religion I still practice my faith because it’s still a part of who I am. I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't,than live my life as if there isn't,and die to find out there is.
To personally identify who I am as a person; I have a tremendous open and loving heart, most of the time putting others ahead of me, which sometimes leaves me hurt. But it’s in my nature to be there for people who need me or helping hand. I believe the world is really filled with good people, sometimes you just need to let them in your heart to truly see their beauty and true colors. I also believe everyone you meet throughout your life is for reason, to either better yourself, to gain a learning experience, or to just soulfully grow. We can learn so much from others if we take the time to listen. I’m also an independent, educated, down-to-earth, honest, kind, caring, and happy with whom I am as a person, and you should be too! If you don't love yourself how can you love others around you.
Some stuff I like to do for fun.. I love to cook, and I love to eat! I would have to say my most favorite food to eat and make is Italian, Greek, mostly anything Mediterranean, German, Spanish (I love manchego cheese), and French. Mexican food is still kind of new to me, but it’s growing on me, just give me and my stomach some time. Besides stuffing my face, I love the beach and love to play volleyball, tennis, or go running when I have time. I also love music and love to dance and go clubbing with my friends. My drink of choice is a Long Island Ice Tea or Mr. Jack (in case any of you mens want to take me out *wink* hehe). I’m a big Star Trek fan (not to the point where I’m wearing the uniform, but that’s hot too) I have all the series on DVD (TNG, Voyager, DS 9) plus I just bought a big flat screen TV, loving it! I also collect money from other countries around the world. I also enjoy going to art galleries and museums. When I’m not being a nerd, I like to work on my art. I’m a designer and artist. I love to get down and dirty and play with my paint and charcoal and get all messy. I also love to sketch and sculp. And when I’m really creative I take out my pencils and architectural scale and start drafting away from land structures to luxury jets and ocean liners.
One more thing! Remember, when you live each day with all your heart, then you really can live happily ever after..
