This is the aim of the band and will be the case until the inevitable demise. Though the band has only started, it still has a history...
The seeds of the band first started when Liz and Will first met about 4 years ago through a mutal love of the murderdolls, from this moment a chord was struck. Both Liz and Will had the same, view, attitude and passion for music, and life for that matter, and a friendship had begun. After a few months and talks, they both decided to form a band, by this point both Will and Liz’s tastes and gone beyond the fun and frolics of trashy/horror punk and were listening to bands with a message, a message to do it your self, a message to take no shit from anyone and to always do your own thing. What followed was a ’rehearsal’ In Will’s little shed, and though what was created would not the best thing commited to tape, it was a form of expression, a beginning, and ignited a feeling that this was the right thing for us
However, due to school, college and personal problems the seeds of the band came to a complete halt for a year or two, nothing had changed, but time just simply could not be spared.
However, in late 2005, the band started again, and this time a drummer was included in the line up, Laura, a good friend of Liz’s who was recommend to Will. Another rehearsal took place in Denmark street, and was 3 hours of intensity. Sweat blood and tears, but also laughter. Not only did laura have the same vision, but could pound the fuck out of the drums. The spark was still there and the fresh blood made it even better and the shape of the band started emerging.
This leads us now to the present day, with a few more rehearsals under their belts, and some demo recordings Mayday have arrived, and are coming soon, to a venue near you.

Everything, The world has had an effect on me, from the birth of something, to the death of something. Music has always influenced me, bands such as; AMEN, Pantera, Slipknot, Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Ensiferum, Korn, Manowar, Muderdolls, Nirvana, Ozzy, Rammstein, Slayer, Sepultulra, Misfits, The Sore, Stone Sour, Lamb Of God, Guns n Roses [before axl went fucking nuts], System Of A Down, Tenacious D, Trashlight Vision, Turisas, Amon Amarth, and more... All these bands have changed me into what I am now, for that im beyond grateful.

People who’ve influenced me mean fuckloads to me aswell as i dont have many;Joey Jordison - Fuck! if I hadnt seen this man play drums, I duno where I’d be at... This man has been a fucking inspiration and a fucking half in my eyes, if it wasnt for him I would’nt have picked up the sticks and whacked those drum skins with all my heart.Casey Chaos - Where to start?! This guy is just a fucking brutal legend, fucking true with his music, true to himself and bullshits nobody. He is one of the craziest men I’ve known of onstage, although I haven’t yet had the plesure of seeing this man at work I know that there is still time, and with every single fucking performance he gives it his all. Seeing all the blood sweat and tears [quite literally] he puts into his music has blown me away many-a-time. This is a man who creates music that you just want to go out in the street and fuck shit up! you wanna fuckin bash someones face into a wall and just relase all the hate you have within you, always knowing that this music isnt some fake ass pussy shit. With that, it means so much more.Friends and family of course, but mainly Liz...Man, I love that bitch! We’ve grown up together for around 5 years or more...I duno but its been a long fucken time! She has been probably the main influence in my whole life. Liz, along with everyone else hasinpired me to be who I am. Yet, if it wasnt for her, I dont think I would’ve encountered true whole-hearted music without her...God forbid I’d be out listening to Fiddy Cent gettin’ laid by 40 year old men just to pay for clothes... She doesn’t know just what she does to me when she’s in that practice room, she brings the energy, brings the violence! Seeing that shes putting everything into the music, makes me want to fucking break shit, that’s why when you see me drum I’ll fuck up but I’ll continue, I love knowing that in this band, we can all release this energy and love for the music.Religion, Polotics, POLICE, Dickheads on the street, The poor, Fakes... Mainly, when I have a reaction to anything and everything...it influences me to write music, and not about ’I wanna bang y’allz chikzzz aiiiit?’ I mean music that may not be understandable to others but I want it to have an impact on them. Even if they dont understand it, I myself want them to make something out of it. Make the people who listen to it have their own veiw on the music and it somehow relate to them or their lives.
