Terrence O’Brien has performed over 65 roles throughout the US, Europe and Russia with companies including the Spoletto Festival, Italy, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Tulsa Opera, OperaDelaware and the Vox Renaissence Consort. Earlier roles include Camille in The Merry Widow, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Alfredo in La Traviata and Tamino in Die Zauberflöte. Equally comfortable in Musical Theater, these roles have included Tony in West Side Story, Billy Flynn in Chicago and Anthony Hope in Sweeney Todd, to name a few. As his voice matured, his repertoire expanded to include Manrico in Il Trovatore, Don Jose in Carmen and the title role in Les Contes d’Hoffmann. He was a finalist in the Greater Buffalo International Vocal Competition and winner of the 2004 Venice International Vocal Competition.
