About Me

Two hours southeast of Los Angeles resides the Inland Empire, which is often forgotten due to the rich musical history of its counterpart to the west. The Inland Empire has placed its own unique stamp on the California music scene, and the heavy metal band In Silence is a welcomed addition.
Inspired by bands like Metallica, Pantera, and Shadows Fall, In Silence have begun a journey that is sure further entrench their place in the burgeoning new movement of down-to-earth bands that have shed heavy metals checkered past while embracing everything positive and powerful the genre has ever offered.
Completed nearly two years ago with the addition of Wes Hatmaker on guitar, Toby Hatmaker on guitar Jim Ferrin on bass, Jeff Allen on drums In Silence was formed in Hemet, California. Fresh out of the studio, In Silence's EP is filled with carefully crafted songs that surge with energy, passion, and originality.
Their passion, conviction, sense of musical grandeur and lyrical desperation are best exemplified with tracks like Invincible, Halfbreed, and the explosive song Nabahe with Twin guitar harmonies and point/counterpoint dynamics abound, twisting around vocals that alternate from melodic and pained to caustic and full of rage. The energy from an In Silence live performance surges, which leaves many fans wanting more.
Heavy music is, once again, re-ignited by a band unafraid to rewrite the rules of the game.
