Well it's been a couple years since I've updated this at all, so why not now?I'm currently in my third year at ASU and finally in the major I've always wanted--Voice Performance. I've realized that I'm in no hurry to get started on the real world, so I'm not too bummed about graduating a year later to finish the degree I'm thrilled to be pursuing. The idea of striving for a statistically unlikely career can be daunting, but I'm confident that God will provide, and help me figure it our along the way. I'm studying opera mostly, but I try to keep music theater in my life as much as possible. I've also recently entered the world of professional violin gigs, having played for a few musicals in the valley. One of these days I'll actually be in one myself! we'll see. I absolutely love to sing, but it's definitely frustrating comprehending all that comes with it in the professional world. But I've got God on my side and I'm ready to conquer the world! He has saved me so many times, and I'm sure He will many more. I am so thankful that I can go through college not just for a degree, but also on a journey for Him. He has blessed me with amazing Christian fellowship, which I pray will be a constant in my life. Although I still struggle daily, I'm learning the importance of guarding my heart, but also being real with people. I pray He will continue to provide circumstances for me to share my experiences and bless others. The school of music is intense; in a way it has swallowed me. But I know that only with His guidance will I make it out recognized as a loved and cherished daughter of a King!
