About Me

First thing about me you should know is that baseball is my life. Ever since I was a little kid I was pretty much the star of every baseball team I was on, so it was pretty clear I was gonna be headed for a career as a pro-baseball player. I got drafted by a minor league team, the Long Island Wolves, right outta high school. (My dad was a minor league star, too, and even got drafted by the Yankees back in the late 60s. There was talk he was gonna be the next Mickey Mantle, but instead he ended up going to Vietnam and never had a baseball career after that. Needless to say, he is my hero). I play third base. So far I’ve had one of the highest batting averages in the history of the team, and I am gunning for the major leagues in a big way. I also hold the record for the Wolves for most extra base hits in a season, and highest slugging percentage in a season. The Wolves went up from single A status to double AA status since I’ve been on the team, so it’s only a matter of time before I go on to a triple AAA status team, (there’s talk of the Wolves maybe upgrading their status again, so that would be cool, as I’d love to stay on Long Island as long as I can). I also played a half season for the New Britain Rock Cats, (a double AA team), before the Wolves upgraded their status. Since I’m the world’s biggest Yankees fan, of course I’d love to play for the Yankees. But I’m realistic enough to know I may not be able to start my major league career here in NY, so I will consider offers from various major league teams across the country, (except for the Mets and the Red Sox. Oh, and the Angels, too, after the way they beat the Yankees in 2002). In the meantime, I work part-time as the handyman at my best friend Kyle's bed & breakfast, (you can see more about Kyle's B&B at www.kylecomics.com ).
