About Me

Hi this is George. I work as a dj and club promoter.I left club Underworld on May 2008 after 3 and a half years (this means since day one) and now i'm working on a new industrial/goth/alternative club that will open in late September. Also for the last 6 years,i have a Sunday residency at Closer where i play indie and alt.rock (well and more than this actually). Cities that i have djed apart from Athens: Thessaloniki,Patra,Preston,London,Ljubljana,Moscow,Barcelona . I have booked and djed with: Brian Molko(Placebo),Peter Hook(Joy Division,New Order), Kevin Matthews(Puressence),Barry 7(Add N To X), Neil Taylor(Mesh), Danny/Vincent Cavanagh and John Douglas from Anathema, Mani(Stone Roses/Primal Scream),Clint Boon(Inspiral Carpets), Andy Rourke(Smiths),David TG,Allen TG, Blade,Lahannya(Slimelight),Dj Nox,Further,Tomo,Grace Khold&Alex Vega (Dope Stars Inc.), DJ Zynthexia. Some of the bands that i have booked for gigs are The Mission,Into The Abyss, The Organ, Unter Null,Aesthetic Perfection, Calla,Star Industry,Xotox, Noisuf-X, X-RX and IAMX. Gigs that i have co-organised with other promoters:Combichrist,Diorama,Sheep On Drugs. Burlesque and fetish performers bookings: Miss Lily White,Lucifire,Tutti Frutti,Paloma Faith,Esme,The Tusk,Psycho Cyborgs,Jonny Dragon,Kumi Monster,Amrita,Kamelyan,Vivid Angel,Maleficent Martini,Crazy White Sean,Valeria Dragova. I also co-organize Torture Garden in Athens every year. Djed in several clubs in Athens since 1993(Next,Metalleio,Horostasio for 7 years!,Memphis,Odd and Underworld for 3 and half years). On 2003 i released a compilation called Friendly Fire on EMI.Also,you can find two selections from my Underworld set on the Aderlass compilation Volume 5 that released on 2007.
