About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

My name is Lilja Kristin Jonsdottir, and I..m 19 years old. I love all kinds of stuff that make the world better. Music is what keeps me going most of the time, food is good too... I can..t eat fish or peas, due to allergie they are like poison to my fragile body. I dig chicken. I like riding my bike in the summer and listen to music, learning new things, keeping track of the world and reading good books. I also have a little passion for vintage fashion and good movies....especially bad movies though. I also run quite a lot...I want to run a marathon some day. I like to sing, play guitar (even though I..m not good at it) and playing the cello. Many places in the world are important to me. I still live in the same place where I was born, in Egilsstadir, Iceland, and I know every corner of this place. Reykjavik is my favourite city in the world. Nature is important, and I am going to do everything I can in the future to save it. I love exploring new things...especially new music. After I finish the school Im in now, I plan to travel and see as many concerts as I possibly can, learn at least one new language and my dream is to try to eat a snail before I die. When I "grow up"....I..m not getting any bigger...I want to be a journalist or a news reporter, I like talking and writing about things. And oh yeah, check out my band; www.myspace.com/bloodgroup!!

My Interests

MUSIC, movies, literature, politics, the preservation of icelandic nature, friends, running, fashion, debating, playing the cello, singing at cool concerts with cool people, dancing, and relaxing in a warm bath.

I'd like to meet:

John Frusciante, Jeff Buckley and Will Smith....nothing could be funnier. I would also like to meet Gunnar from Krossinn...and ask him what the hell went wrong in his head. Actually, I would sing "What went wrong in your head" by Supergrass.

Music:

Núna: Arcade Fire, Beirut, Digitalism, David Bowie, White Stripes, Skátar, Leonard Cohen, Modest Mouse, Interpol, Pulp, Bloodgroup, Bonnie ..Prince.. Billy and so much more...

Movies:

From Dusk till Dawn I, The Life Aquatic, Fifth Element, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, Amelie, Star Wars, Kill Bill I & II, Office Space...and I love crappy B-movies as well. I like not having to think while I watch tv. Movies like Teen Wolf. 80..s "entertainment movies for teens", the kind they put on tv at lunchtime on saturdays.

Television:

The Simpsons, Family Guy, documentaries about space, nature, man, history and music, soap operas (Bold and the Beautiful), Nip/Tuck

Books:

Mostly schoolbooks right now.

Heroes:

Vigdís Finnbogadottir, Florence Nightingale, Ómar Ragnarsson...and all people who are not afraid to protest and risk their reputation in order to save something that really matters, like human rights and nature. John Frusciante, for getting out of drugs and still be better than he ever was.
