Whether it's a ride in The Barina of Mystery or an encounter with The Silhouetted Lady, pop your head in and have a close-up experience to remember.Intimate theatre sideshow at its very best.Created by Telia Nevile and Matt Kelly for the 2004 La Mama Explorations Season, Penny Machinations has gone on to have a wail of a time at the 2005 & 2006 Melbourne Fringe Festivals (2005 Outstanding Special Event); the 2006/2007 Falls Festival at Marion Bay, TAS; The Village at Edinburgh Gardens (2006 & 2007); The Grape Escape, Halls Gap (2007); the 2007 Midsumma Opening Night; and most recently the 2007/2008 Falls Festival at Lorne, VIC.Go on...if the sign says Vacant, come on in...Other highlights of the [Fringe] festival club include…the delightful Penny Machinations, a series of brief, deft theatrical delights.
