Break Cadence started in early 2003 from members of The Slicks and Asylum, interested in reviving the old-school punk hardcore genre on the West Coast. Backgrounds in metal, hardcore, punk, death, thrash, and more constituted a base for many genre-bending, fundamental blah blah blah...
