hi there, how's it going

About Me

just another average citizen of the United States, involved in my community with membership in Lions and the West End Youth and Community clubs, attend St. Thomas Catholic Church, have three grown kids I'm very proud of, married a couple of times, happily but single now, looking forward to meeting new people

My Interests

serious writing, music, literature, philosophy, cooking, civic activities to benefit my community, my aging parent, my dogs and cat, housekeeping and film...well of course being out of doors doing anything to get some exercise and have fun

I'd like to meet:

outgoing friendly people who share interests I have or are into things I'd like to know more about, someone who reads a book and wants to share what they learned from it, who has some involvement in his community, has a religion or belief they follow, not necessarily the same as me but it guides their life, has faith in tomorrow because of what they do today

Music:

all venues, especially the classical, anything new that I don't end up playing until I'm sick of it, country, new age, alternative and stuff I make up on the piano

Movies:

ones with a lot of plot, good camera work, interesting actors

Television:

I'm a television surfer but my son tells me 'flight of the condor' on HBO is pretty good, I saw the movie from it, reminds me of film school, good comedy

Books:

Elmore Leonard (read them all I think) Earl Emerson (those too) Larry McMurty (think I read all those too)

Heroes:

my dad and mom, some of the people I've worked with, my neighbor

My Blog
