navigating like it's my job, adapting to things better than most (not as good as some), falling in love with phrases daily, passionate conversations about whatever's clver.
people who didn't forget or lose their sense of wonder, curiosity, or predilection for diner/ kooky food.
in practical terms, new people in the boston area who want to hang out, span time, whatever... and friends in other funky places who have lives and couches they want to share. i'll share mine back, promise.
high hopes: gillian welch, danny deck, clea duvall, will oldham, people whose voices i'll fall for.
oh and i only have so many friends because i say yes to most musicians, as they need their music dispersed out there. at the same time, i want to cut that shit down! so unless you are truly sincere, incendiary, or like nothing else, musically, don't add me. also, i don't add nu metal, racists, or pop (except for twee pop or Jon Brion style).
realization: you can't tell the sound of someone's voice from their photos. well, usually you can't. or just how they talk, what they bring up, their temperaments, etc. SO maybe i'm more about meeting than getting stuck in this online limbo. and i think my friends should meet each other.
in other news, i'm as single as a matchstick... but i've got nina simone on the 1's and tom waits on the 2's, so i'm a little busy.
oh, and more people to interview for my conversation blog. or to just read it and take in the conversation. conversationsetc.blogspot.com
