I am here for Friends

About Me

You know I am not quite sure. You tell me. "Ones own self is well hidden from ones ownself" after all and I try really hard not to give myself labels...or rather I find myself labeling myself all too often. Not a healthy habit. Most of the things I think identify me, are hardly ever correct. I am an actor and I will probably be acting on and off stage for the rest of my life. Not to say I am not completely genuine with everyone I meet. I just have to warn you that until you know me for about a year you won't truly see the real me. and often times you will meet someone else that knows me and you will have opposite opinions. I have a tendency to be honest to a fault, about myself, those around me, and my percieved world, which tends to define my sense of humor as well. I am constantly laughing and cracking jokes that noone seems to understand but me. I am blind in one eye (won't say which) so I tend to see the world half in reality and half in the darkness that is my imagination. I am still trying to seperate the two but alas I am coming to the comfortable conclusion that I am just fine the way I am and if others have a problem with the way I see the world or my lack thereof I certainly won't begrudge them there opinion. I never hold grudges, I won't try and convert you to any of my dogmas, and I expect the same from you. (clarification) if the conversation should broach on the arts or especially on Acting I will always say what it is I believe to be correct. Because I believe that is the only way to learn and it is the only thing I am trully interested in debating. I also like to discuss the highs and lows of movies and books. Everything else is just put here to shape me into a well rounded and in essence a good actor. I guess in general you could just say I am one of those "Don't know until you try" type of guys.

You Are Tequilla

When you drink, you're serious about getting drunk! You'll take any shot that's offered up to you... Even if it tastes like sock sweat! And you're never afraid of eating the worm. What alcoholic drink are you?

I'd like to meet:

meh...Who knows? Anyone God cares to send my way.. Most of the people I have met that are worth knowing I wouldn't have ever expected to have met when I did. So come on, be somebody. Show me what your worth. Drop me a line. Just say whats up and maybe we'll smoke a bowl to good times. Whatever.

Music:

Touchy subject as anyone who knows me will tell you. I like a lot of different types of music. But I don't listen to any of it. Basicly I view the world as if it were a movie and if a song is playing that coincides with the scene that I am in then I like it.

Movies:

Got a couple of hours? Basicly I believe that every movie ever made has merit, and should be watched and learned from... But here are some of my fovorite Directors..my role models I guess. Stanley Kubric, Ridley Scot, Baz Lurhman, David Lynch, Tim Burton, Quentin Tarantino, Tennessee Williams, Eli Kazan, Kevin Smith, Guy Ritchie, Alfred Hitchkock, Cameron Crowe, Marten Scorcese, Rob Reiner, Peter Jackson, M. Knight Shamaylan (even though The Village was just one long Outer Limits episode.) Jerry Bruckheimer even though he is a producer not a director, and finally I will throw both Lucas and Speilberg in at the last. Lucas because of Star Wars and Speilberg because of Schindler's List... There are many movies out there that I have watched, loved and learned from who were not directed by these geniuses above.... Which include Swingers, Fight Club, Tao of Steve, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Alien Trilogy, Underworld, all the Monty Pythons, Rebel Without a Cause, The Professional, The origional Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Trainspotting, The Labrynth, Dark Crystal (and other puppet movies) Usual Suspects, Office Space, 28 days later, Troy, Resident Evil 1&2, Rivers Edge, Igby Goes Down, Easy Rider,Natural Born Killers The origional Dune and the sci fi version, American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Spaceballs, Matrix just the first one, Evil Dead 1,2 and Army of Darkness, X-Men 1&2, Spider Man 1&2, Super Troopers, Batman only 1&2, Dawn of the dead, origional Excorsist, Little Shop of Horrors, Drop Dead Fred, Monster, Alexander, Gummo, Harry Potter 1thru3, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, Master and Commander, House of Flying Daggers, Amelie, Patton, Princess Mononoke, Waking Life, Rocky 1thru5, all the Bond movies. Also I will go and watch any of the following actors no matter what movie they make. Many of these actors I have met and a few I have gotten to know personally, that means that I have respect for the following actors-Arnold Schwartzenegger, Bruce Willis, Julie Andrews, Micheal Keaton, Woody Harrelson, Tom Hanks, Demi Moore, Julia Roberts, Ben Stiller, Crispon Glover, Jamie Foxx, Edward Norton, Sean Penn, Kevin Spacey, Jude Law, Christian Bale, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Billy Bob Thornton, Lou Diamond Phillips, Keanu Reeves, Angelina Jolie, Viggo Mortenson, Adam Sandler, Matt Damon, Madonna, Robert Deniro, Sigourney Weaver, Princess Grace Kelly, Sir Ian Mckellin, River Pheonix, Juaquin Pheonix, Kate Beckinsale, Johnny Depp, Jim Carey, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Mike Meyers, Audrey Hepburn, Christopher Walken, Gary Senise, John Malkovich, Freddie Prince Jr., Chris Rock, Nicholas Cage, Mel Gibson, Uma Thurman, Gwenith Paltrow, Jack Black, Ewen McGregor, Sean Connery (even after League of Extraordinary Gentlemen), Jack Nicholson, Drew Barrymore oh and ummmm Shirley Temple =)... There are no bad movies only bad movie watchers...That being said here are three movies nobody should ever watch. Take it from me don't waste your time. Timeline, Under Hell Gate Bridge and Westender. lol if Rusty could see me now he would slap me for being so pretensious.
